I've played a few games on my laptop haven't had any problems. Laptop is fast with no lag issues.

Fast and designed for gamer, this laptop gives you everything you need in order to play outright or on the internet. My only complaint would be the size and weight. It really is a mini tower disguised as a laptop, but if gaming is your thing, this is all bang for the buck.

Needed to get my cousin a gaming laptop for all of his gaming goodness. This is without a doubt one of the best ones out there right now. He absolutely loves it; the speed and capacity is immensely impressive, flawlessly running games without flaw.

I purchased this as an open box deal, certified. I expected to have some sort of papers with it, since it was certified, but I got nothing. The power supply that came with it had the price tag for the uncertified unit. There were fingerprints on the screen of the laptop. I am impressed by the vivid colors and the bright screen. I have occasional problems with the laptop freezing, everything except the cursor. I can't alt tab when it happens, or do anything else involving the keyboard. Google has yet to be able to solve it, and as I cannot consistently reproduce it, I can't exactly troubleshoot it. The product is too big to use on my lap comfortable. I refer to it as the KTT - kitchen table top, because it feels like I'm carrying a table top on my lap. But I'm finally able to play some of my favorite graphical games again, so I'm happy.

I purchased this as a gaming box after the Texas flooding distroyed my home and everything in it. Solid game box for playing WOW, SWTOR, DIABLO, ETC. The built in GTX 1070 the games runs well. If you want even more power to drive a desktop monitor you can get the graphics amplifier, slap a gtx 1080 to in it and you have screaming prefomance like a desktop.

Computer is great, power block went in-op in less than two weeks, warranty covered but out of computer for 4 days. -240 watts blocks are known issue with burning up, universals are 60-90 watts. -Computer is great though, no complaints there. -Buy a docking station that supports your power needs & have a back up on hand from the get go .

This laptop is great for gaming on the go. It will handle any game you can throw at it with ease. It is a bit heavy but there is a lot of power to pack in a small, portable package.

I have enjoyed this purchase. It is fast, dependable and I have had zero problems with it. I can even have more than one game goign at a time without it slowing down.

I could not be happier for the performance I have been getting out of this laptop! It's been great for both work and a unwinding with games after a long day.

It's fast, a little big though. The sad included was a tad slow, so I put my Samsung 950pro in it. The laptop was setup under raid so I had to change it to ahci and reinstall Windows. It plays games very well and speeded up my business production

I know a lot of people say "buying Alienware is crazy overpriced", however, with the sale and the open box, the quality of the build as well as the parts inside the laptop make this item a steal. It can easily handle all of today's games and the size is great for travel gaming while still feeling like you aren't on such a small screen. 10/10 would purchase again. Mike the sales team leader in the tech department was super helpful and i would highly recommend using him whenever in the store.

The Alienware 17 is a beast of a computer. If you include the weight of the power brick it is over 10 lbs. But for me thats a good thing. Because packed inside is a GTX 1070 and an i7-7700HQ that both stay decently cool under load with only moderate fan noise. It can play most any game at max at 1080P and medium to high at 1440P. It easily tackles VR and editing and has a very smooth look and feel to it. Would highly recommend although a bit pricey compared to competition to try to pick it up on sale.

I almost didn't purchase one of these due to the negative reviews but I took a chance despite them. First off this is a big laptop. Compared to an HP Omen it's quite large but appears to be vented for airflow better. You can hear the fans cooling it but they aren't nearly as loud as some reviews made me believe. All in all this performs very well and has everything that I needed for hardware. I have never owned an Alienware computer but i suspect this will be the first of many more to come.

This computer is everything that they say it is. I am very happy with how well it works. The picture is great. The only drawback is the size. It will not fit the normal case for a 17" screen laptop computer.

It was good out the box and I wasted something in my keyboard so they sent a tech out to fix it and found other problems as well and I had to send it off for at least a week or two got it back the it camera didn’t work so they had to send another tech out to change the whole screen out after that everything has been working perfectly good laptop for gaming big and would recommend a Alienware bag to carry it if you would like to use it for everyday use

This laptop works really well, which can handle lots of task and game, and the gaming is excellent on this PC.

good fast machine for gaming, but sharp corners and weight detract keep me from calling it a great product.
