The Alpha is amazing, upgraded to windows 10 operating system and it is fast and the graphics are amazing. What a great way to play computer games on TV. Log into your steam account and all your games are there to play, or if you have games on your computer download to a drive and upload to the Alpha and play. It comes with an XBOX controller to use or you can hook up your key board and use that.

I recommend you upgrade the ram to 8gb and the hard drive to an SSD. After doing this, my machine runs like a boss. I play SWTOR on ultra settings at about 50 frames per second.

If you love PC games but not so demanding, so this is the right choice for you. With a basic configuration around 400 dollars. You can play most of the current games with no problem after you add your own memory stick to 8Gb. I3 is OK for most games.

I replaced the i3 with an i7 from my desktop and this computer has had no problem playing even the most demanding games on the highest settings. It does seem to get pretty hot after hours of play but so far it has not caused errors or any problems.

At first glance, it doesn't seem all that impressive outside if the size. However with a minor ram update and optional hard drive update this machine is quite impressive. It will run games at better frame rates and graphics than consoles will. Smaller, and more versatile since it is an actual PC.

This was a very affordable gaming computer. Perfect for my 10 year old and the games he plays.Set up was real easy 10-15min.

While I am not a 'gamer' I love technology. The only game I play is Rocksmith 2014 and was interested in moving of of the console to a PC to play some custom songs. I didn't like the idea of being confined to the small computer monitor and didn't want to move the dinosaur-of-a-computer to the big screen... this is where the Alpha came in! Designed like a console but with full PC power, it is completely Plug-and-play!

This is a great PC for gaming. It play most STEAM games fine and is easy to use and setup. Might not play a lot of games in the future but for the price (the same cost as a top end graphics card) it makes a great little game system.

Nice little (and i mean tiny) HTPC. I upgraded to 8gb of ram and added a SSD hard drive and this lil guy runs smooth

This is my first AW system. I got this system over a xbox 360 and ps4. I also wanted to replace my gaming laptop which is a Lenovo y40. I have been playing some pretty demanding games at 60 FPS+ on high and some ultra for older games. Most recently playing Battlefront on high settings with 60 55 - 60 FPS. This system is a great deal for 400ish and is a nice addition to the living room.

The Alpha is a great mini PC - designed for gaming, but pulling double duty as a full Windows machine.

I wanted a simple system to play my favorite PC retro games. Alienware's Alpha Desktop was the perfect solution. Easy setup, great graphics and no hassles. Loving it!

I bought it for my living room pc and it works great. I think its small size is great fit and its steam gaming capability is an additional benefit for me. I know it is mainly designed and marketed for a gaming machine, but for me it is a great small sized pc for living room use.

Great desktop, occupies less space, faster as usual and easy to operate. Till now no issues working great.

If you like PC gaming this console runs recent games at great fps. The steam alpha console mode is amazing when you wanna game up in the living room. The desktop version is really just what you need for all those other games. It's a great starter for someone that wants to PC game. I think it's well worth the price. Also you can upgrade RAM and put an SSD.

Great home theater PC. I highly recommend putting in a ssd and extra ram. Games look better and smoother then Xbox one or ps4!

I loved playing games on this little pc!!! But you have to be realistic, don't expect a pc at this price point to handle new games on high settings, but impressively it does play new games on low-medium settings. Great machine for the money!.

Great form factor and perfect size for an htpc. Ordered an open box unit and came in great condition.

This is a great entry level gaming PC and better if you are on a budget. It is pretty much just for gaming, as I play WoW on it, but can only handle so much. Personally I feel the hard drive is small at 500GB and I had trouble running GTA V on low settings so I must give it 4 stars.
