very pleased sometimes can be loud. Overall very good computer for a factory built computer. The disk drive tray is super flimsy

This computer absolutely blows away anything I've ever owned before. The i7 is one of the most powerful processors available today, and add in the 16GB RAM and the GT1070 (with another 8GB on that), and it will handle any game you throw at it in full HD without breaking a sweat. The SSD makes bootup times only take about 10 seconds to be fully usable from off. I had read other reviews where people experienced excessive noise problems with the power supply fans, but mine is whisper silent-I had my laptop in the same room as it, and all I could hear was the cooling pad fan on the laptop.

Runs Oculus Rift as good as I could hope. Only issues we have is it's not a Mac and windows works so different from our iMacs.

The deal was for an opened box and the price was unbelievable. $800 with tax for an i7 with a good graphics card. This was easily a good purchase to make

It's very quiet, I'm glad I didn't get a weird one...or wait did I? I t does strange things sometimes like being unresponsive and requiring a power down manually (holding the power button until it turns off). It also wont let me change the colors of the Leds although that's not as important to me as the computer performing properly. Oh the disk drive is extremely flimsy and I'm pretty sure the one I have on my 10 year old Compaq laptop is heavier duty but all that means is I have to be careful with it. Running Oculus on it is perfect, though like I've mentioned before sometimes the computer freezes and that's happened while I've been using the BigScreen app on Oculus-I was streaming a cartoon show- not currently during any gaming. Speaking of Oculus it requires the headset be plugged into the only HDMI slot on the computer which is on the graphics card so your Monitor will have to be connected to the computer by DisplayPort of which there are many or a HDMI to DisplayPort Adapter which is what I'm using. Hopefully these kinks are temporary and aren't a sign of some major repair issue down the line.

I purchased this desktop to update my current desktop system and I am satisfied with this syetem. I would recommend this system to any gamers.

Works flawlessly out of the box with easy set up. Very fast with up to date components. Awesome video card. Highly recommend for serious gamers

My son love this computer. This is the one we bought for him to replace his old game computer. He is so happy and much faster than the old one.

I'm not that knowledgeable about computers I'll admit, but I wanted something to run my VR stuff and I wasn't looking for the bare minimum. I wanted something that'd be future proof and something that'd hang with the latest technology no sweat. This is honestly a really nice rig, I sometimes regret not getting liquid cooling, but everything has advantages and disadvantages. I've nothing to complain about here, this is quiet and it does exactly what I bought it to do. And it's beautiful. Good clean sleek design. Lot of my friends are envious.

I would have given it 5 stars, but dissapointed that Best Buy doesn't have more computers with larger drives. By that I mean it would be nice to have a 500 gb SD drive in stock as opposed to just a 250 gb. Other than the SD drive being smaller than I would like, I am very happy with the system. If you can get by with 250 drive, then you should give it 5 stars. I definitely would have given it 5 stars if they had a desktop with a 500 gb drive.

I bought this as part of best buy bundle offer along with oculus rift it is the perfect fit to run the VR

I bought this computer primarily for gaming and productivity (video editing). The computer performs exactly as advertised without screaming "I am a gaming machine" when you look at it. Some may think that it is overpriced compared to "building your own" but that is ok. The computer is not the quietest machine available due to the lack of water cooling. If you are looking for a computer that is VR ready and not break your bank this is perfect.

We purchased the Alien-ware system on a wim. we wanted a VR and needed something powerful. This computer and its service are awesome.

Can't go wrong here. This machine is configured extremely well for the price! I was going to build a gaming machine, but after reviewing the specs on this, decided this was the was to go. Glad I made that choice! If I had to find a con - it would be in regards to the keyboard and mouse. For the price, I would have expected a mechanical keyboard (Illuminated), and a higher quality mouse. But... considering what they put into the machine.. that's were they put the money.. So I'm happy!

I boyught this for my son he loves this gaming computer its awesome its quick and he loves it money well worth spent .

I bought this pc wanting to game and I haven't had any problems running any game that I want on ultra setting.

The pc speed is awesome for gaming. The oculus rift as well that goes with it is a awesome gaming expierance

Got this strictly for gaming - works great; just wish i had gotten more memory and larger SSD to begin with.
