After fielding the competition, this PC is the truth. Runs Oculus Rift without fail and never crashes.

The desktop is very fast and easy to set up. I really enjoy the ability to connect multiple displays.

I bought this PC as part of a bundle with the Oculus Rift. Overall, the PC performed as expected and, as advertised, was Oculus Rift compatible. However, having previously built video editing PCs, I expected this "gaming" PC to be more powerful than it turned out to be. Again, overall, setup was easy and it worked as advertised, just not as powerful as I had hoped for.

So far after 3months I have but one small issue is the fan noise other than that i really like it

It is an Alienware and we know it is a very good brand. It is fast and beautiful. I love it.

I was looking for a desktop with good graphics and settled for this model which had the 1070 Nvidia card rather than the 1080 I wanted. Nevertheless, it was an expensive machine. The disk drive is not only flimsy and cheesy, the PC detects it only about once every 10 times. It also has a lousy opening mechanism and no powered closing mechanism. The keyboard and mouse supplied were marked alienware, but looked not too different from the plain vanilla devices that come with cheap PCs. They, of course, were not wireless or back lighted and had no special keys or features. Why would Dell take such cheap shortcuts on such an expensive gamer PC?

This computer is a great machine for gaming only complaint is that it is a little noisy

Got it as a work computer and i game on it sometimes , and wow blows me away

^^ Amazing for a desktop gaming station! I came from an MSI Laptop that was very awesome. I wanted to avoid a noisy tower. But this thing is sooo quiet and is performing like a champ. It was setup in less than an hour and came with a Keyboard and Mouse. (Didn't use them. But Still...) Runs 4K smoothly and the onboard customization is OP for my needs, but I'm glad I have it.

I'm extremely happy with my new system. It has outperformed my expectations.

Exact description of the R5 shows water cooling directly on dells site, and also a modular power supply.... opened this up, and no water cooling or modular power supply... 1600.00 out the door and not same item as dell/alienware website. ATTACHED PICTURE SHOWS WHAT INSIDE SHOULD LOOK LIKE. VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!
