Sound good. Mic picks up speech nicely without having to jam the mic boom in your mouth. Can charge and use at the same time if the battery isn't ready for use. The color effects add a nice touch but are only noticeable to others around you, if anyone, and do not do much for the person wearing the headset. The headset is somewhat heavy and can get uncomfortable due to the strength of spring. There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the tension or fit aside from raising and lowering the ear cups. Otherwise, these would be great headphones. I would only recommend these to friends with small heads due to the lack of fit adjustment.

Mic can barely catch my voice and produces really bad echo... not really courteous for my friends.

Very well build and very beautiful, the light effect is also very cool. Very comfortable even if you wear glasses. No sound leaks out so won't be a problem for late night gaming. Extra/advanced features requires the Alienware Headset Center program and Windows 10. Sound quality is superb in gaming as well as movie, mic is very clear. It does work with Windows 7 but as a simple headset. It comes with 3.5mm audio in socket and does not require power on to use this. 2 things I don't like are my ears get a bit hot after wearing for some time and when there is no audio, you hear your own heart beats.

Wireless doesn’t work on my Xbox. Not what I was looking for.

This has been my favorite gaming headset I’ve had so far across all the brands I’ve had. Even the packaging was great. The headset feels lightweight on the head in my opinion and very comfortable for long gaming sessions. Great microphone, with crisp clear sound and voice. The sound that it puts out is impressive surround sound. Overall good product. Only cons came from instillation for the software needed and the buttons and placement of them take some getting used to

This headset has some really good sound. The generated surround sound is good and the modes you get in the software really do a good job of adjusting to different kinds of listening, such as music, movies, and all different types of games. The enhancements that are done to the sound can sound a little artificial at times but overall it is a good sounding headset. My one complaint would be the comfort. The ear cuffs are comfortable and I would be ok wearing them for extended periods although they can get a little warm if your in a warm room. The headband though just seems cheap. Instead of having the same or similar material for the head strap they use some sort of air filled rubber material. I assume it is supposed to be lighter on the head that way but it just feels cheep for such a headset. Build quality seems ok but I have not had them long enough to tell how they may withstand normal use over time.

Got these primarily to use with Xbox one and they work pretty good. A bit complicated to set up since they have to be wired into one of the controllers but they do the job. They are very comfortable and the sound is pretty cool and you can hear every effect of the game. They are pricey but comparable to Turtle Beach headsets I have used in the past. They can be used wireless or wired.

Stop working after 4 months, stop charging. Try all the trouble shoots,wasted $250 for this junk,with no warranty ,manufacturer doesn't have a clue as to fix it. I got robbed

These are very nice gaming headphones. The sound is very nice, the fold up mic is great as well. I like how the mic can be tucked away or be adjusted to your likeing. So many settings on these its crazy. Volume, eq, mic off/on, rgb led lighting. These paired seamlessly to all my gaming systerms which is a plus plus imo... My new favorite headphones to game with....

I’ve used these for a little while now and I have to say I’m quite impressed. Comfort from these is great, I don’t get any fatigue after a couple of hours use. Sound quality is up there with the best. My only negative is build as they seem a little too plastic

Alienware is the leader in gaming computer accessories and these headphones are no exception. The quality is top notch and the sound is excellent. It would be nice if they were wireless, but at least you don't have to worry about charging. The blue highlighting is cool and the overall appearance is nice. It will give an advantage in multiple gaming where finding the competition is key.

Video game consoles have their headphones and then these are like PC gaming just way way better. There are other gaming headsets out there that are like $400 and $500 but this is the best $200 you will ever spend in your life. Don't bother thinking about it just buy them.

These are the comfiest pair of headphones I have ever worn. I have used these for gaming music and even to block out noise while I’m sleeping. You don’t notice there on your head and they don’t make your head sweat. I recommend these headphones to everyone looking for a pair. And the option to use change the lightin on the sides, and the usb dongle for people who favor cable free tech is a wonderful addition.

Quality buildnice. Vocals sound very clear and audible, but all other sound is slightly distorted. The software behind the headphones is great as instantly one can swap between the different default types. However, I would leave it on the default "Alienware" setting rather than a customized setting profile.

This set of headphones arrives in a beautiful box and is well packaged. The headphones feel amazing when put on one's head and it just feels right. I hooked this up via audio jack on phone and it worked just great. I did a phone call using the headphone and the audio to me was great; for the other party however, there was interference that made the audio distorted. Relocating the phone solved the problem; on a much cheaper set of headphones, there were none of these issues. I then was anxious to try this on my Dell gaming desktop that also has other alienware items like keyboard and mouse and monitor. Having experienced wonderful performance from those items (and superb quality build), I wanted to love this headset. Unfortunately after repeated tries, this thing is junk - kept saying "connected". Shut off headset and restarted repeatedly. After thinking that I had solved the problem with a fresh installation of the Alienware software for the headphones, the "Connected" sound repeated. This is not a cheap unit - its software is complete junk and the headphone feels and looks great but has significant performance issues. There are superior gaming headsets whose software is not awful. I don't know where the problem with this unit is - I can build and repair computers so I'm no novice. I carefully tried settings and reinstalled software - rebooted the computer several times. But sadly this thing is so irritating that it will go back in the box and the cheap unit I had which works flawlessly will return to the computer.

Very comfortable good gaming never have to tale them off in the middle of the game.

I was truly excited to buy and game with these headsets.. Except none of the features work on the Xbox.. I can't use volume/game rockers.. I can't use Alien game lighting. And most importantly I can't use the Alien Command Center.. I spent close to $200 only to have the mute button function....These will be returned.

The headphones are nice but when they stop charging after 5 months Dell will not back the 2yr warranty that comes with this headphone and refer you back to Best Buy to be exchanged, This is great but Best Buy has a 15 Day return policy. Will definitely not buy any Dell or Alien Ware products.
