I bought this sub to replace a Polk one i had bought last year for $30 and found this one on a site cheaper then BB but since BB matches prices it was easier to get!
I originally had a TypeR but the pawn shop sold me a dual 2ohm VC and one of the VC's were blown and they never told me and the TypeR's are a lil more pricey for the quality!

These things sound amazing, however I do have one complaint. The foam in the outer ring tore within a matter of 6 months and therefore they look like total garbage now.

Pushing 500rms from a 5 way Kenwood amp to this sub in a sealed box custom box for a 2015 Mustang. Pretty satisfied. You get your money's worth since this is probably one of the lowest priced 12" subs on the market at 500rms.

i did buy the insurance and im so glad i did. i have to go pick up my fourth replacement in less than 3 months. I have a Kicker 500 watt amp with the gain just less than half way up. it sounds great and hits hard but does not last long if you dont baby it.
