Really easy camera to set up and use. I purchased this because I have a separate microphone. It works, the quality is good enough, and it's easy to maneuver. Only complaint I have is that the stand could be a little sturdier, as it is pretty cheap plastic.

The InterWeb says this is actually a Security Camera, I'm using it as a Web Camera. Cameras are hard to find so I decided to try this as it was available. Note, that It has no Microphone. I have a 'Blue' mic so I'm good without it in this unit. You may want/need a mic so you may need to look at another brand. I'm sure Best Buy can find something for you. I received no manual or software with this unit except how to plug it in. It did come with a medium length cable. Its a very light in weight unit. I mounted mine to a Tripod with two drilled holes and small nuts and bolts. Mine came in a generic white box with a brand sticker on the side. Enclosed was the camera and a cable. Works fine on my Win10 machine but would not run under Win7 (either 32 or 64 bit) even after using their Tech support. I purchased it with the intent of using on a Win7 machine. Mine has a micro card slot on the side, but nothing noted about it (???). It appears this is for security recording as reviews said it had no cloud storage. And mine came with a blue film on a double sided circle of tape. Assume this was to secure it to a flat surface.

I don’t recommend. I found this same exact model for 30 dollars online and it’s described as a home security camera. I purchased my home security cameras for less with the same FOV and with the microphone with 2 way talk and the monitoring system on it, which has app support, haven’t found that for this. As a webcam it isn’t bad, quality is fairly crisp and it’s easily placed anywhere as it’s small, but it tips over with the slightest cord bump as the stand for it doesn’t have any way to mount and isn’t magnetic and the head is too heavy for the base. It’ll get used but I wish I would’ve just gone ahead and spent the same and got the Logitech. This one looked decent and I saw it was new, but isn’t worth the money for what you get. Good lense and all but everything else makes me think I might return it. Simple explanation, quality isn’t worth this price point. You can get much better with Logitech, even Razer. Like i said you can find it for 30 elsewhere brand new, and you could find one on amazon with this same quality for probably even less. 1080 isn’t hard to deliver anymore either so I don’t know why they still charge so much. Ease of use is good, as are most webcams. Plug and play maybe with an update. Can get that almost anywhere for less. Buy a better product with better quality.

Pros: Wide angle lens at 150 degrees Long USB cable included Plug and Play Mounting Tape Ring included Cons: Plastic mount and rubber O-ring washer is somewhat bouncy and causes the camera to tilt off axis just a tad. Just enough to only slightly annoy but unnoticeable to most. Not a deal breaker.

First, the staff person at the computer at the door asked what I wanted and I didn't know what it was called so I said I needed a camera for my computer so I can see people when I'm on Zoom. I didn't need a microphone because I already bought one. He knew right away that I needed a web cam. So he told me about a couple, but none was in the store. But the good news was I did not need to come back for it, they would send it to me. It was very easy for me to set up and use. I dread shopping for technological things but this was so easy! And the sales person was so pleasant.

I bought this camera for my son who’s in middle school and is currently doing remote learning. It’s easy to use and maneuver the camera. Great quality for its size.

I like it a lot. Easy to maneuver. Easily uploaded and connected to my computer. The only thing I wish it did would be to automatically focus on where my face is at, for the position. Otherwise, very pleased with it.

Good quality image for the price. Looks clean and sleek. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a USB camera.

We needed a microphone on the webcam...yep, we didn't fully read the description. My son was the one doing the ordering and was excited about this particular camera. Anyway, Best Buy was great about taking it back and refunding our money. I'm sure it's a great camera if your computer has a mic.

It’s okay but it has no microphone, no way to attach to a laptop, and no way to adjust the camera settings. Also has a much wider view than I was expecting.

This microphone has proved to be an excellent purchase. Image quality is very good. Since I have a headset and microphone, the fact that this Aluratek-1080 P has no microphone was not an issue and in fact allowed me to save money.

You should only buy this camera if it is absolutely an emergency. The only reason I gave it two stars is because I was able to return it, this is a terrible camera.

Easy to install and works great! What more would you like? This says it all.

I been using this webcam for webcasting live and its a great product. I don't need there to be a microphone on the webcam since i have a different source for that. Other then that product is perfect for what i use it for.

It took me sometime to figure out how to get image from camera to PC

Works fine, the picture quality for a 1080p webcam is subpar and very pixelated but it gets the job done for class and twitch streaming!
