I use the bluetooth transmitter with wireless headphones. Range is good. Some loss of audio quality from data compression, but still sounds good. Love the output jacks when the headphone battery gets low so I can still listen with wire connection.

Instructions are clear and easy to follow. It works flawlessly, we use it in the car and at home. Only flaw is while using it as a receiver, the call goes to the phone speaker (my car doesn’t have Bluetooth). It’s definitely a plus that it has a built in battery. I purchased as deal of the day for a great price.

Very good product and easy to set up. Using it to broadcast live TV to a Bluetooth speaker. A slight delay but overall a very good product.

My hearing has been declining for years. It has been a point of contention with my better half. I like the volume up and she likes it down. I bought this to put on my television because it only has an optical output. The Aluratek has various cables which will accommodate most outputs. A lot of newer TVS are doing away with earphone and RCA Jacks. Turning the signal into bluetooth allows me to choose a variety of headphones and I can turn the volume up. The only thing I found annoying was the on off button could be a little more conventional.

I wanted to listen to my TV with the Bose Soundwear Companion bluetooth speakers that hang over you shoulders. My TV can send the sound out over bluetooth, but the volume control for the TV doesn't work when using bluetooth. The TV depends on setting the volume from the receiving device. Unfortunately even with the Bose units volume maxed, it was not loud enough for my less than perfect hearing. I also have the TV connected to a Denon receiver but it has no audio outs except the headphone out. The headphone out volume level CAN be controlled with the Denon's remote. So I connected a headphone cable to the Denon, connected the other end of the cable to the Alurtek using an adapter to use the 3.5 mm input of the Alurtek. It works perfectly. Plenty of volume. No bluetooth dropouts. Problem solved with a fairly inexpensive device.

This was a great way to broadcast TV audio to my sound system with no wires. Sound is good and sync's up easy. I have been looking for a product that would do this for a long time.

Didn’t always want to connect , and sometimes dropped connection Getting it to connect to apt-x was next to impossible. And when it did it still had background noise. I thought Bluetooth would be a good way to stream hifi turns out Bluetooth anything is not my taste. I’m sticking to hard wired audio. This was better sounding than most I’ve heard.

I wanted a device that could transmit a signal from an ancient stereo receiver and associated components to a Blueray soundbar. This unit does that perfectly and was easy to setup. My only complaint is that the indication of whether the unit is on or off is vague. If it it on, it will override the input on the soundbar to the Blueray setting, and shut-off the TV input.

Easy to hook up and they work well. The tv can be at 0 sound so nobody in the rest of the house has to listen. It isn't blasting so somebody else can be on the phone or working.

I bought two of these to be able to use wireless headphones with a couple of televisions in my house (TX mode) and they work great. Easily connects to the TV with optical cable and has no problem linking to my headphones although, if I recall, the initial setup did not go exactly as described in the instructions. I plan on using it in RX mode with speakers for streaming music as well but I haven't set that up yet. I was surprised to find that they're battery operated but I just leave the USB plugged in all the time so you might buy an adapter while you're at it. Does its job!

Used this to stream music from 1980's stereo receiver to bluetooth speaker outdoors during my daughter's high school graduation party. Pretty cool!

Works perfectly and easy to set up. Using with my old sony amplifier to play music from my phone without hooking my phone directly to amplifier. The only drawback is that it doesnt come with a power cord to keep the Aluratek charged.

This had great range, far better than what bluetooth speakers support. Keep in mind that the listed range does assume open space and no interference which is highly unlikely. With it inside and all the neighborhood wifi and cell signals around I still had at least 100ft range.

The receiver takes a little getting used to when connecting and disconnecting different devices via Bluetooth, as the only indicator on the device is a red/blue light. Once connected though, I haven’t had any issues with the connection dropping, and the range is truly impressive.

The Aluratek Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter has worked like a charm! I have a vintage IPod that doesn't have Bluetooth abilities until the Aluretek came along and turned my sorrows into joy! I have 1900 songs on my iPod and know once connected I can pair with my wireless headphones and Party Down. I am over the top happy with this transmitter!

Easy to set up. It allows one to use Bluetooth headphones on TV. Definitely recommend

This is an excellent product. Be mindful of the latency when using along with wired speakers. Unless your wired system can be calibrated to add up to 100ms delay, you will hear sounds out of phase.

The range and connectivity of this device is great. Much better than the dedicated Bluetooth I previously got for my Marantz 6007 receiver. This one can be used in any Audio Video system so much more versatile.
