The movie was a good start to get them back on to the big screen. The music was fun but the story could have used some more work. The Chipmunks were just unlikable for large parts of this movie. They needed to show their innocence a bit more.

Alvin & the Chipmunks is a childhood favorite of mine. I wasn't sure how the remake was going to be but its a pretty solid family friendly film to watch on Friday nights

I didn't see that it was a blu ray disc which I can't play on my DVD. Had already opened it. They should be put in a separate area from the other discs.

Babysitting this weekend? Have a son, daughter, younger sibling or cousin? Pop this movie in and watch it keep people of all ages at least slightly entertained.

The price was right for an older movie. We had seen it before so basically it was waiting for the right price. Its a cute movie for the kids.

The movie is an update of the Chipmunks from the past....fast paced in some parts and Alvin is still getting into trouble. Fun to watch--

This is a funny movie, but nothing compared to Disney / Pixar kids movies. The best parts are the songs.

Who'd have thunk Alvin & the Chipmunks would make such a comeback. An old-fashioned property has been given a modern-day makeover and the results are mixed. Purists will cringe but kids will dig it. The blu-ray is a fine effort, though nothing extraordinary. Aggressively priced to own, which is not a bad thing.

Alvin is always good to make anyone laugh. Great for everyone in the family

Bought this for my girls to watch because they like the series on tv.

My toddler grabbed this out of the bargain bin. Good for the car ride.
