I like the sleek look of this microwave. The inside was the main reason I got this microwave. Do to the fact, I have a splatter shield that is magnetic and it sticks to the inside top without any problems. For some reason , they have put a plastic plate on the inside top of so many microwaves and it limited me on purchasing any of them. I found that so frustrating. I do really like this Amana microwave for another reason is it does not have a name plate on the front of it, and that is a plus. it heats fantastic. The only downfall is it does not have the instant one through six minute setting, just the add thirty seconds setting. But it is a great microwave and I am thinking of getting an extra one for future use. The price is a great price considering what some costs of microwaves today.

It is the best microwave so far. This new microwave replaced the same brand name Amana that was still working for the last 15 years or more.
The new one runs quiet. The exhaust fans run also quiet and have automatic speeds switching based on cooking temperature or hot steam below it.

I bought this microwave for my tenants to replace one that went bad... The install was fast and easy using the template which was included... From unwrapping to using the microwave was 30 minutes.. There are plenty of functions programmed for different foods and snacks... The the price was great...

Bought to replace a Samsung that failed after just 3 years. It’s deeper so sticks out more than my previous microwave. It was difficult to install as it didn’t fit in the same holes as the previous microwave and the template was not accurate. I like how there is no brand name on front and I like that there is no handle, just a push area to open.

Installation was a bit stressful considering the stencil for installation is on the cardboard box this comes in, lol. 3/5 indtall difficulty, there was a plastic wrapped service manual tucked into the vent on the top. Be aure to pull that out. You got it! Good luck

"High frequency dielectric heating apparatus" was patented in 1945 by Raytheon, and a prototype built. The first microwave oven for commercial purposes (ships and hotels) was introduced in 1947 by Raytheon, and named the Radar Range. It stood five and a half feet tall, weighed 750 pounds, and cost $3000."

My Amana cost 129.00 and is a perfect fit over my stove. I remember my neighbor having an Amana Radarange in 1964. This is my first Amana and I am very happy with it.

Great deal right outta the box. The price was reasonable and good quality. I picked this item because of the cost and the good reviews. I am currently remodeling my kitchen and this looks great with new cabinets.

Easy to install, vent speed could be better, heats up well… dont like the fact that all the other amana appliances have a blue led light and this microwave has green light for display.
