Save yourself the headache buy another brand. I purchased two of these dor my apartment units and have had issues on several occasions less than 6 months after purchase with no use withing the first four months. Have had parts replaced on multiple occasions and to top it off Amana/Whirlpool and their service contractor has zero sense of urgency you have to wait several days before a technician can come diagnose only to have come again because they need to order the parts. Hundreds of dollars of food had to be thrown away. Never again this product doesn't even deserve a star. I wouldn't even gift this to my worse enemy that's how bad this fridge is. Evaporator, heater wire, condenser, heater control box have all had to be replaced

Worse Experience with this Whirlpool made AMANA Refrigerator Model: ASI2175GRS. I purchased this refrigerator in April 2022 ( MY 5TH MONTH NOW ) and I am still struggling to have this unit work correctly. The freezer won't heat during Defrost mode with frosted ice buildup inside the evaporator, blocking air going to refrigerator side. I already had 4 visits by the Diamond Factory Service, they kept replacing parts but to no avail, my unit is still NOT FIXED. Right now, I am waiting for them to call me if my replacement control unit arrives, and it has been about 2-months now and NO PART.... WHIRLPOOL / AMANA WON'T ALLOW RETURN/REFUND OF UNIT ( ONLY REPAIR IS MY OPTION ) ....... DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT.

We haven't had real long yet only like a month, but everything seems great with it soo far. Only thing I have noticed is the handles, kind of feel a little loose and I can't tighten them any more.

Very satisfied with this purchase. We buy a lot of them for properties for sale as its price and style works for me

I wish it had more space between the shelves and the vegetables are not staying crisp

Great product but was installed wrong. They installed a water line to my refrigerator from my sink. The problem is they hooked it up to hot water line. Warm water comes out of dispenser. Cannot get them back until August 15th to fix it. Today’s date is July 26th.

This is the worse refrigerator I've ever owned. After my old fridge went out, I purchased this one back in June 2022. Well, this one went out and I just figured maybe it was just a mishap, so I requested an exchange for another one. So...here we are in November of 2022 and i'm, yet again, having to exchange this refrigerator for another one. This time, I will NOT be getting this same model. My previous fridge was a Frigidaire from 2006. My home warranty stepped in fixed it after I had already go my first Amana Side-by-Side. With me thinking all was well, I sold my old (newly repaired Frigidaire) to my neighbor. He's enjoying it while i'm over here losing food AND money on this brand new piece of junk. They don't make 'em like they used to......

Thought this fridge would give me the best bang for my bucks, but its very small. The freezer is tiny.
