Great unit. Only downside, if any, is that the freezer is just a little small. But switched from a top freezer to this....

I never write reviews but this fridge has been absolutely terrible. Bought 10 months ago and somehow the evaporator coils went bad out of nowhere causing the freezer to stop working. Contacted Amana and had a tech come out covered under the 1 year manufacturer warranty.
They replaced the evaporator coils and managed to make the entire fridge not work. So it went from my freezer not working, to both the fridge and freezer not working. It spoiled all of my food and the customer support is terrible.

So far, love the fridge! It's exactly as advertised and exactly as expected. The water dispenser is a bit tricky at times and you need to make sure your cup is on the right lever, but once you get used to it, it's just fine. LOVE how bright it is inside - the multiple lights and are wonderful!

The first 10 months, the ice maker worked perfectly. Now it is very slow and hardly makes ice. I purchased an extended warranty quick so I can hopefully get another. Service has been out here and replaced the bucket and the computer. It’s still slow! Waiting on another service call. Very frustrating
