Got this fridge after our fancy (I.e. complicated) LG fridge died. I wanted to go with a no frills fridge and repair guy mentioned Whirlpool. This fridge looks to be the same as a more expensive Whirlpool, but this one is made in Mexico. So far so good. The door shelves are very spacious, and the ice maker is in the fridge rather than in the door, which at first I thought would take away space but realized it works better. This is my first side by side, and it has exceeded expectations. The water dispenser and ice chute are very similar to the LG we had, but this one has a simpler set up. One thing, avoid putting magnets below the water/ice area. The water dispenser sometimes drips right after getting water, which isn’t a big deal until you find a rust spot. A drop or two got caught behind a magnet and by the time we moved it the spot had developed. Overall, this fridge is great! Simple, which means less stuff that could break. If all appliances are junk now, may as well opt for the simpler items with less stuff that could break. This fridge is definitely worth a look.

I love the storage, look, and reliability of our new Amana fridge. It has good space, and easy features to use!

It's smaller than expected,my husband purchased while I was out of town. For a single person or someone who doesn't need to store alot It's great.

Great buy for the money. No reason to buy high price appliance with Amana doing the same job. Very cold and LOVE the water and ice on front with crushed ice option. Be careful with the drawers. Pulled out and went to close door and broke the handle which caused the entire bin to break. Still great buy

The ice dispenser gets stuck and the ice doesn't come out all the time have to push it through otherwise it is great!!

Good refrigerator for price. Runs well and i live the crushed ice maker. It is a little noisy at times.

Amana is a really good brand for its value. My entire home is filled with Amana appliances. The fridge does an amazing job keeping all my perishable groceries fresh and cold. It actually gets to cold when set to ideal so I turned it down. Haven’t connected water and ice maker yet so can’t give opinion.

Like Amana. The look is impressive, the space is fabulous

I love the look and feel of this refrigerator don't get me wrong. But there's just one thing. It isn't very accepting of different sized cups at the dispenser. The water button a d the ice button are so close together that when I try to get ice sometimes, water falls over the top of my cup and onto the floor. The only cups you can really use are ones that are short enough and can stand under the dispenser without you tilting a taller cup. The tilting caused you to depress both buttons at the same time and causes spills all over your floor. A tiny bit annoying, but manageable.

So far this refrigerator seems fine. It`s smaller than what I`m used too, but it`s doing the job. You get the ice from the back, but the water is up front. Every time you use the water it runs down the front of the refrigerator, and leave a water stain mark.

Good value and nice design. I gave it four stars because the ice maker froze up and and stopped working once. Once defrosting it hasn’t happened again.

Good space inside. Nice to have 2 interior lights in the fridge side. It's very loud; louder than any fridge we've had.

Had a power surge from a recent storm and lost a few things including our fridge, after explaining we needed something quickly we discovered an open item that fit all needs and with the open item discount and other incentives got a fantastic deal and the fridge has been wonderful. I don't really use the ice dispenser in the door but rest of family loves it and without having to open the door for ice it helps keep the temp stable in freezer.
