No Faith in Best Buy installation/warranty service

I scheduled with Best Buy to have the dishwasher I purchased installed. They arranged for their technician to install and haul away my old item in February. As of Dec 1st 2025, the mount for the dishwasher fell out. I called to get this fixed as it is under 1 yr warranty. Best Buy said they installation is under 90 day warranty only and I would be charged an additional $175 for getting it reinstalled correctly. What a scam. Im a Best Buy+ member, purchased and had the item installed by Best Buy and they don't stand by their work. So dissapointed. Best Buy is no longer on my list for puchases moving forward. Such poor service, no wonder their business model is failing.

Very pleased with the Amana performance. Dishes are spotless and dry when cycle is complete.

So far so good. We have been using it for a few months at this point. Everything works as it should. I'm a little concerned about the closing mechanism because there isn't a handle that you have to squeeze to open the door, it just pulls. This may be a non-issue but I feel it may become loose with age. Sometimes the dishes are a little damp when it's finished but it's not a deal breaker.

The unit itself was good, the real issue was that the delivery and installation kept getting rescheduled with no notification, and it took over a month from the original install date to finally get installed after 4 reschedules. On top of that, it did not come with all of the required pieces for installation. However, when it finally did get delivered and installed, the delivery people and installers were great. I would not purchase delivery or installation from Best Buy again, nor recommend it for anyone else.

Product functions as expected. We experienced no difficulty with installation. Perfect size and color for our needs. Although I wish the drying function was more robust, overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Washes great! Replaced an extremely old dishwasher that came when I bought my house.y dishes are finally coming clean! It runs a bit on the longer side of runs but I’m happy with it. Not very loud

this was a replacement for a Samsung dishwaswher.
amana looked similar and was same size and shape...and it would be available for delivery and install in 2 days....SOLD!

I'm really happy with this Amana dishwasher! It cleans very well and fast and is a great bargain. Alot of times you are just paying for the brand that does the same thing.

Looking for something inexpensive but works well. My issue is noise wirh dishwashers and this one i have not noticed any loud noises when it runs. Win Win for me

We bought this dishwasher in February 2024, and it is still working like new. So far, no issues with it. If you are looking to have a good dishwasher, and that is not too expensive or too much technology, then this is the one.

The product is wonderful. Nice, affordable and simple. That being said, this is my first and last experience buying an appliance from best buy. I ordered this dishwasher on my birthday as a present to myself. My birthday was June 1rst. It arrived a few weeks later than expected because of a back order issue, no big deal, Until the delivery workers decide to wake me up at 6:30 AM on my day off only to install a damaged machine, (not their fault of course.) tell me that they'll send a replacement and offer to have me put on a priority list. Well I can't make the priority list so I guess I'll have to wait another couple of weeks for the next delivery. I make it crystal clear I want the electricians to quality check the new delivery before they wake me up this time. Fast forward to today, August 9th, the shipment has been changed, delayed, sped up, five million times, I've been harassed with emails and calls during my work hours. I get notified yesterday that my item has arrived early and they'll be coming this morning to deliver it. (email and robot called at 6am.) I get a call again at 6:30 am this morning that they're on their way. 7am the Electrician calls to confirm they're still on their way.. . for the service call. So apparently they thought I was requesting service and were not coming with any unit at all, now my times been wasted, I'm forced to be on hold with service all morning while I drive into work to get this problem cleared up, meanwhile apparently management doesn't open until 8am CENTRAL time, so even though I'm dealing with people at 6:30 am, I can't get a resolution for my issues. My original delivery date is still in effect but apparently they didn't have me down for an installation on that date. Apparently they were just going to swing by and drop off the replacement unit? Mind you this is after they tried to guilt me into accepting a discounted damaged unit. I am so sad that this has been my birthday experience, I am beyond fed up that 3 months and several appointments, calls, emails later that this isn't a clear cut situation. If I hadn't already scarified so much time I would be asking for a full refund and going elsewhere. Can't wait to see what else goes wrong in two weeks when they actually come with the appliance. Mind you, customer service has been nothing but apologetic, the electricians were wonderful, the product functions beautifully. Best buy I am severely disappointed in how your system treats its customers. There's absolutely no reason for this nonsense aside from the possibility that you're hoping I'd give up and accept the damaged item.

Cheap Amanda dishwasher has been great for my family. Cleans and dries dishes great! Best Buy has been great for purchasing new appliances.
