  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)
    • Operating Sound Level: 52 decibels adjusted (Today's appliances are pretty quiet. To get a sense for how quiet you'll need, think about having a conversation in the same room. Q: Is this plug-in or hardwire?

A: Hardwired, You'll need a kit to plug it in

Q: what is the cycle time ?

A: Hi there, valued consumer! The Frigidaire 24" Built-In Dishwasher (model FDPH4316AS) offers a 60-Minute Quick Wash cycle, providing a faster cleaning option for lightly soiled dishes. For standard cleaning, the dishwasher includes multiple wash cycles, such as Heavy, Normal, and Energy Saver. However, specific cycle times for these standard cycles are not readily available in the provided sources. It's worth noting that in Consumer Reports' testing, the FDPH4316AS was rated poorly for cycle time when using the full, heavily soiled load with high-temperature options and heated dry enabled. This suggests that while the dishwasher offers efficient cleaning, the cycle times for standard cleaning modes may be longer compared to some other models. - Maico

Q: Can this be installed when there is a dishwasher their already

A: Hello, Sharon. We appreciate your inquiry. Yes. This model can typically be installed as a replacement for an existing dishwasher. Here are some key considerations: 1. Compatibility with Space: Ensure that the dimensions of the current dishwasher space match the dimensions of the Frigidaire FDPH4316AS. The standard size is 24 inches, but it’s a good idea to measure the width, height, and depth of the opening to confirm fit. 2. Plumbing and Electrical Requirements: Verify that the existing water supply line, drain connection, and electrical outlet match the requirements of the new dishwasher. The Frigidaire FDPH4316AS generally requires: A hot water line with a 3/8" connection. A standard 110-120V grounded outlet. A drain connection within reach of the dishwasher’s drain hose. 3. Removal of the Old Dishwasher: Disconnect the old unit by turning off the power and water supply. Detach the electrical wiring, water supply line, and drain hose from the old dishwasher before removing it. 4. Installation of the New Dishwasher: Position the Frigidaire dishwasher in place and reconnect the electrical wiring, water supply, and drain hose. Secure the dishwasher to the cabinet or countertop as per the installation instructions. 5. Professional Assistance: If you’re not experienced with appliance installation, hiring a licensed installer is recommended. They can ensure everything is connected properly and up to code. We hope this information helps! - Christi

    Silent and works great!

The only complaint I have is that there is no audible feed when I press a button. Everything else is great, is cleans really god and its silent.

    shinning clean dishes

Exceeds expectations. Operates efficiently and at a very low noise level. Not a super high tech dishwasher with all the bells and whistles. But a definite upgrade from my older Frigidaire dishwasher. Dishes come out spotless and totally dry when using the maximum drying setting. No more wiping out standing water from lower dishwasher. Organized silverware holder is another feature that I like. Make it so much easier to load and unload silverware. An inexpensive upgrade that I'm happy with. Would recommend the purchase this dishwasher. You won't be sorry. Works as good as a $1200.00 bank breaker.
