Its nice and quiet. I keep forgetting I'm washing clothes. And it saves me money.

I bought this lower priced washer because of the price. I found that it works great thus far. Because of it's low weight it can move a little during the spin cycle even when leveled. It looks nice and it has a large interior. I was happy to see that it holds more clothes and items than my last, more expensive, washer. As of today I have been very happy with it for the last 3 weeks and I was extremely happy with my salesperson and the service that I got from Best Buy. I highly recommend this washing machine to the person who wants a good washer without all of the electronic bells and whistles.

Bought this item Feb '15 and so far it's doing great! I wash about 3 loads a week. It installed easily and was easy to level. It's simple to operate, is very quiet and gets clothes clean. I also like that it has a high RPM in the spin cycle so the clothes take half the time to dry compared to my old washer. Great price and value, for sure!

This washing machine washes the clothes thoroughly. When putting the softener in the center compartment, it made the whole house smell of it. Out is rather loud. It also came with quite a bit of water in it from being tested. For the price though, it is fine. Whirlpool is the owner of Amana, so if you have a problem you have to go through their 30 hoops before it gets fixed.

This washer replaced a 20 year old washer that didn't really work any more. It's a no frills, easy to use washer. No crazy computer screen, just a few buttons and a selector knob. Works well. Only complaint might be the loudness of the machine while washing, but it's far quieter than the old one provided you balance the load.

After many many years with our old washer, it finally had to be replaced. This washer is so great. It holds a lot of wash and cleans wonderfully. The price? Couldn't be beat!

This washer does its job and does it nicely. For the price I cannot find fault in it. I bought it for my girlfriends place and compared to my washer which is of much higher price I can't find many differences. This one just doesn't have as many settings as the higher priced one I own but other than that they both seem to clean clothes the same and also operate with about the same amount of noise. Can't beat it for $300.

This product is really good for those price conscious. It cleans very well, and it is smooth. the only problem that have with the product is that it is noisy. I have to close the laundry room when it is operation. OVERALL, A REALLY GOOD PRODUCT.

I love my new washer and dryer. It works great and the price was great ! I would definantly recommend this product to a friend . They delivered it and carried them up 3 flights of stairs to get them in my apartment and never complained ! The only negotiate thing was that when they hooked it up they forgot to connect a drain hose and I had water draining on to my floor . I caught it quickly and my delivery guy came back and fix it immediately

We had a Whirlpool Duet front loader that was always out of balance and would walk around the wash room. Several attempts to correct the problem failed. Worst washer ever! The Amana is a basic washing machine that does what it is supposed to do...wash clothes. It does an amazing job and does not need to be baby sat.

Good product for the price. It's not the greatest but it gets the job done.

I bought this washer about 2 weeks ago. I have used it several times since then. It seems that my clothes are cleaner using this washer than my old washer. I highly recommend it! For the money, this is the best washing machine I have ever owned. It has the agitator in the middle which they don't come with anymore. It is very quiet and does an awesome job with washing clothes and comforters. Love it!

I just reviewed the washer, but did so mistakenly in the dryer review and can't find an edit option. Anyway, the washer is quiet, user-friendly, and performs well. We think it's a great value. FYI we're equally happy with the dryer. It's also quieter than most we've had and has the popular bells and whistles.

They are quite and efficient. Great size, and compact. Do very well cleaning my oil and grease stained clothes.

I searched for several days to find the best price for a new washing machine and kept coming back to this one. The price was the best for this model. Purchase at BB was smooth, as was the delivery. What amazed me was how quiet it was. It does make some odd sounds as it does its thing. The machine senses the balance of the load and smooths it out. When it spun out the clothes there was no banging or clunking like the old machine. The clothes came out clean and I am happy.

This washer is definitely loud, I can hear from almost anywhere in a small home even with the laundry room door closed. I'm sure the lid lock feature could be annoying to many people but not a deal killer for me. It looks nice and performs okay so far, but only time will tell if it holds up.

I bought this washing machine for 218$ and it does a great job cleaning my clothes. I do not believe that it runs loud like some other users have posted.

Purchased the washer and dryer for a young adult in an apartment. We are pleased with the purchase. They are the right size for an apartment laundry room. The delivery and set up was exceptional as well.

The washer works fine. It is pretty loud when in use and vibrates quite a bit. It's a good choice if you're on a budget though. I purchased the warranty just in case since its a lower end product. Also just purchased the Amana dryer and it is less noisy and also works great!
