    I put mu towels in to dry on the "high heat- timed dry" cycle in the morning when I went to work and the dryer was still going when I returned home 9 hours later! I do not use this temperature to dry anymore.

    Have had Amana washer for 17 years so Thot we'd get an Amana dryer. The price was right at $300, however after not drying the load on one 70 minute cycle we returned it. Also quite loud. Bought a whirlpool and it is awesome.

    I've had the dryer for a month. Worked fine for the first 2-3 weeks, but by the end of third week I was having to dry loads 2-3 times to get completely dry. Called Best Buy and they only have a 2 week return policy so called amana and am now awaiting a service technician to look at it. Very disappointed. When I called Amana the first question the woman asked is "do you use dryer sheets?" ...Ahm yes it's a dryer!!! Apparently there's a sensor that can be affected by using them. I have stopped using them since the call and that hasn't helped. Buy something better.
