Please run! Lol do not buy this dryer I've spent more in repairs than the dryer. It's 3 years old but another dryer. Or buy it and remember this review, and say to yourself I should have bought another brand

A great dryer, easy hook up, large and a great buy. I would get one again..washer next.

The dryer's setting is not long enough, longest time is 60 minutes and clothes need 2 or 3 cycles to dry.

I've had this dryer for over a month. It seems to do a great job drying in a sufficient time. The large drum is great for larger loads and items. The filter on top is a bit of a pain b/c when you pull it out you can't avoid some of the dust on top of the dryer. This is not a huge issue but if you're OCD it's good to know. It also has some energy settings that will work for smaller loads. I think for the price it's a great deal and does the job.

I got the washer so naturally I decided to get the dryer too, I have no regret doing this. I works noiselessly and saves energy just like it states on the package. The stainless steel inner shines at all times and does not look like something that will accumulate lint. I am saving money and we can feel in in our savings. This is a good buy for anybody wanting to have his/her own personal washing bay without going through some crazy installment payment. The price is great and its just does the work without raising the energy bill. Go for it if you are looking for one!

Had purchased a out of box model at a discount, brought it home to find out it didn't work....at all. Upgraded to the Whirlpool

this dryer takes over an hour and 30 minutes to dry a regular load

Wouldnt buy again. Old dry dried better and was around same price when bought

Our last dryer was taking 3x to dry a load, so it was time to replace it. We went with this one because it was the lowest price we could find anywhere - we did self install which was easy enough, but since it does NOT come with the electric cable, we used the one from the old dryer. If you want the delivery guys to install, you must buy NEW cable and accessories. Works well, has more features than our last dryer. Works as expected.

Our old dryer lost its heating element and we needed something quick and cheap. This dryer is a no-frills dryer. It is perfect and does what it says it will do. It has all of the settings I need and dries clothes quickly and evenly; meaning I can throw in t-shirts with corduroy pants and in 40 minutes a large load is completely dry and wrinkle free. The drum on this is sizable and can fit large, stuffed comforters and blankets. The efficiency of this dryer has cut my weekend laundry schedule by a third. It is relatively quiet (no buzzer) and very stable.

This little Amana replaced a large Cabrio dryer we had. It worked quite well but was just frankly too big for the two of us and the relatively high-tech interface was confusing to my fiancé. We just took delivery of the Amana today, installation was seamless and we've run two loads so far with excellent results. Highly recommended.

I bought this dryer for my daughter. She really loves it. The size is perfect for her laundry area. She can even dry large comforters in it. I did alot of research before purchasing this from bestbuy and it really paid off. Not only did they have the best price, delivery was free. Win, win. Very Happy.

It is a great product for the price. It is not the largest and does not have the most features but I could buy 4 of these to every other unit that had a little more room and a few more bells and whistles. It is exactly what I needed.

If you're looking for a machine to simply dry your clothes without any bells and whistles this is the dryer for you. It's the simplest dryer on the market, but it dries clothes just as good (if not better) then machines twice it's price. Also this dryer is quiet. So quiet that when I first used it I had to peek into my laundry room to make sure it was actually running. The only thing I wish this dryer had was an end of cycle buzzer/sound so I know the dryer is done without having to check in on it. Other then that, the dryer does its job perfectly.

The price was great - and it dries even better! I love the energy saver feature!

We bought our first house about 4yrs ago and along with that had to buy a washer/dryer. Needless to say that expensive GE dryer gave out on us about a week ago and money has been tight. We went to best buy and bought the cheapest dryer which was this Amana Electric Dryer for $299. It had to be ordered which was ok, but until we got it, I was concerned it wasn't going to perform as well as our last, but boy was I surprised. My last dryer always took 80mins or more to dry a full load of towels, but this dryer did it in 40mins! I was stoked! Couldn't have asked for a better dryer with an EXCELLENT price tag! I never used all the fancy settings on our last dryer so it didn't bother me that this dryer doesn't have them! It does exactly what I need it to, dry my clothes! Also just a side note, the customer service person told us we would have to order a new door from the manufacture considering we needed it to open the opposite direction, but in the instruction manual it shows you step by step how to turn the door around so that was another bonus!

If you simply need to dry your clothes, then this dryer is, quite simply, all you need. Lint basket works great, my clothes are lint-free. There is no loud, annoying buzzer (thank God), but there is no sound at all, so if you don't have a good timer in your head, you might want to set a timer on your smartphone to remind you. Otherwise, this thing works great, and it's perfect for people on a budget.

It does everything I need ..no complaints! Would recomend it to all those budget conscious Moms out there.

Good base unit with great functionality. Easy to use with a good drying cycle.
