Customers recognize the Band 5 Fitness Tracker's excellent battery life, ease of use, and comprehensive features including heart rate, sleep, and step tracking. Many appreciate its accuracy and value for the price. However, some find the screen size to be too small, making it difficult to read, especially in bright sunlight. The small screen size is the most frequently cited drawback.

It's a pretty good watch and I do get my messages and phone call notifications, which are really all I was looking for. Battery life is very good for a smart watch, but I think that is because the heart rate monitoring isn't always on for me, though I don't really care about that. The band is comfortable and doesn't pinch, but I find that I get the band caught on a lot of things and I find the clasp snaps off, and the watch ends up on the ground a lot. The bands are easy to swap out and there are a lot of colors to choose from. Yes it is a cheap smart watch, but for what I wanted it is a great buy.

For the price, this is a really great little health monitor. Although, it does need to be mentioned, that you do need a phone to use the tracker. A companion app, Zepp, is required for the device to do much of anything. So, really, this review is more over the app than the device.
The watch natively tracks heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and "steps"- and from this data the phone app will calculate things like calories burned, stress level, sleep quality, and personal activity intelligence.
How accurate are they? Well, it varies. The heart rate is fairly accurate, although by default it only updates every minute. You can go into the options, on your phone app, and change this either directly or through an option that automatically ups that rate during exercise. Blood oxygen level is a bit finicky. It's a stat that you manually have to check and, in my experience, seems to be consistently a few points off. The pedometer aspect is just way off. Over the course of a day, it tracked me at around 6000 steps- and there was no way that was even possible. Because the device is on your wrist, it can easily give you false steps from simple movements. But, that's how most arm based pedometers are, so I don't really fault this device for it.
The calculated stats are going to rely heavily on the algorithm that they use as well as the data that they receive, so are really there as more of a novelty than anything else. The sleep tracker, for instance, is just guessing at when you're actually asleep or in REM. From my experience, it's at least correct about when I'm asleep, although I can't verify if the state of the sleep is accurate. Stress level is based on heart rate variability, and if the device is only checking your heart rate every minute it can be a little off. And calories burned is based on how many steps you've taken, which I've already pointed out can be wildly off.
There are a lot more things that can be "tracked" in the app, like weight, height, BMI, water intake, but they don't work. Some won't even allow you to manually enter data, so they're just there to let you know that maybe eventually they might sell a device to track them.
The device is comfortable enough to wear. I haven't had any issues with it. During exercise it can jostle a bit leading to more inaccurate readings, and they do mention to tighten to up a bit when exercising. It's not that big of a deal though.
Overall, this is great for the price. If you don't want to spend $50+ on fancy "smart" watches and just want a simple device to monitor heart rate- this is for you.

Amazing for the price. I bought it to track steps at work and it does more than what I expected. The steps are a little bit off when I compare it to a higher end smart watch but it keeps up well. The bpm monitor also works well and it fits a variety of wrist sizes!

Inexpensive, but still has alot of features/ capabilities. Only other tracker I've ever used was a 1st gen fitbit. This is so much better than that, and only costs a little more. This is perfect for someone like me who doesn't want to spend $150+ on a smartwatch. This has a touchscreen & u can swipe thru the screens to access different stuff. I really like the sleep analysis feature. I now know I don't get much REM sleep, so I'm going to a sleep doctor-thanks Amazfit! Also tells when heart rate &/or stress level is too high. And will guide u thru breathing exercises, which actually reduces ur heart rate in a short amount of time (it shows you)! Definitely recommend!!!

For the price, can't go wrong. I was only looking for a activity tracker that was more dependable than the Strava app and so far, this has not disappointed me! All the extra features, like sleep tracking, O2 sensor, stress sensor, control music, alarms, heart rate monitor have sweetened the pot. This combined with an Oneplus 7T has been a great pair.

My first fitness tracker. I bought it at a good price thanks to BB's price match and I like all of the features. I only connect it to my phone's Bluetooth once a day to sync everything to the Zepp app, otherwise it uses the battery (on each device) faster. I get at least 12 days of use on a full charge this way. It takes about 90 minutes to fully charge from about 15%. It takes some practice to latch the little peg into the desired hole to adjust the band's fit. It might be easier if the holes and the peg were both a little bigger. I like the vibrating alarms and timers - silent but effective.
