Got this for my 2 year old. Their two older siblings have Fire HD 8 kids editions. These are good tablets for kids especially because they come with freetime unlimited free for a year, then it’s like $7/month for a family plan for up to 4 kids. There’s a lot of content from books to games to shows. And you can add Disney+ and Netflix to their kid accounts. I wish Amazon would enlarge the internal storage because it fills up fast and hardly any of the freetime apps (if any, I’m not really sure) actually get stored on an added micro sd card (which I got for both of my older kid’s tablets so they’re mostly useless.) So you will have to keep “archiving” unused content to free up space to download more apps. Overall a good starter tablet for kids. Obviously I purchased another one even with the memory misgivings.

My son loves it. It has a lot of games and other apps already on it. I recommend it. Bought for Christmas gift. He loves takiñg pictures, and playing the games or watching movies. He is 7 yrs old. It is a little slower to load up, probably because he is forever loading games and pictures on it.

This is the perfect tablet for kids, the case is very sturdy and the apps are all kids friendly and safe!! I appreciated that I didn’t have to do much work on setting it up as everything was pre installed all I had to do was log into my account.

This device is small, user friendly, has a handle for the easy carrying around and great for travelling. It keeps the kids entertained and love the fact that you can control playtime since the kids would stay on all day and night if you allow it.

My 4 year old really loves it and it is nice not having to worry too much about what is on the tablet. You will need to add memory to this unit, as he had it overloaded in a day. Sometimes it gets a bit fussy and will need reset, but it is amazing for the price.

This thing is great for the kids. I got this for my baby and the case on this does it’s job perfectly. Easy setup, easy to use. I’d recommend this for any one with kids. And very easy to install YouTube kids with the help of xda developers.

Overall I give it a 4.5 out of five stars and is great for kids it comes with Amazon free time for a year for free and it has a kid proof case it comes around it and it is very cheap and reasonable for a kid starter tablet overall great product

This is my second purchase. I previously purchased a blue one for my grandson. This protective case and sturdy stand are great features. The size is good for child sized hands Tobe a BB le to manipulate the tablet.

This is a great tablet for those little young kids. Has great games that well help them learn at the same time, no need to worry of them watching something they should not be watching. The included case makes it great and protects if dropped avoiding breakage.

Great product! I bought for school online since the COVID-19 so my daughter uses it everyday for her classwork and works great only downside is they don’t have google meet but still good. The children’s profile is kid friendly for them and has where u can have an adult profile also. You can use Alexa and listen to music. Also they have apps for the kids, books, games, and music. All kid friendly so you don’t have to worry about them watching bad things. The rubber case is great my daughter has dropped a couple of times and still in great condition! Also, the tablet comes with amazon freetime free for a year and then 2 year warranty free and then warranty is great it’s supposed to be like a no questions asked they’ll replace it. Overall great product for price!

My kids love it. Easy set up plenty of memory and apps. I love it becouse it keeps them quite doing car wides and has many Lerner apps for my 3/6 yr old. Also got a discount when buying 2 by 20 bucks

Overall a great item for my almost 2yrs old for her shows. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it seems like it takes extra long to charge up completely. The case is very convenient because you can stand it up in different ways.

This is our second Fire Tablet. My daughter loves her new pink one. She watches movies and shows during quiet time (for mom and dad) and plays ABC Mouse during quarantine/lockdown to keep her growing brain sharp. It's a great size and the pad on the outside keeps it safe when she drops or throws it. The battery seems to hold up a lot better on this one than the other larger one too, which is nice since she wont sit still with the chargers plugged in. Overall, we love it. The only thing I would change about these kids tablets is that I wish you could avoid the main tablet dashboard altogether and boot straight to a kids menu. She has a hard time finding her apps on the home page because it's filled with bloatware and other programs and apps

I love this tablet. I love the parental controls, apps, games, and everything. My son is absolutely in love, too. Only downside is the lack of memory available, but we plan to purchase MicroSD cards to solve that issue.

Gave this as a Birthday gift. He loved it! could not wait for it to be set up. The set up was very easy and quick. Great games to download for him to learn on. To watch movies with. We go the headset to go with it also.

I recommend a fire tablet for young children over all others. The fire tablet has better apps, and security features for children. I have now bought 3 of them for my grandchildren who absolutely love them.

This tablet was a gift for our daughter's 5th birthday. We allow her to use mostly on weekend mornings to watch movies or play educational games. We do not allow her to use during school hours because it can be a distraction. We use the tablet as a tool to teach her responsibility: she has to ask for it to be charged on Friday nights and she has to keep the volume controlled. She understands that using the tablet is one of her privileges, so she puts away other toys and helps keep the play area clean as a condition of usage. We are pleased with how this tablet allows us some all some freedom and we look forward to incorporating with our younger children once they reach age 5.

Covid relief, got this when the world was shut down

This is the second one that I have purchased. As I said earlier, good product for children, but the processor is slow. Definitely invest in more memory, as 16 gig is not enough. I would buy another one.
