Great value for the price and features

Apps are Amazon-centric, still you can access missing Apps (e.g., YouTube) via the internet. I like the ability to add memory-laden files via micro sd card. Cons - The camera creates poor quality images. And I'm rankled that I can't remove adds from the lock screen. This tablet is my property, I should have a choice in the matter.

Nice Little Tablet for Cheap!

It has similar screen resolution, but a few new features, like Bluetooth connectivity, more memory, and upgraded OS. I'd say it was worth the price!

The Kindles seem to be a bit more sluggish at times. But in terms of what I can do with a Kindle is more than the Nook Color. One thing is more memory.
