Bought this for wife so I don't have a lot of personal experience with it, but she enjoys it. It is rather simple to use and makes use of Prime features even though she is not the member. With a bit of research and messing around, you can setup a family account which allows the other member to use your streaming and books. It doesn't allow access to purchased shows which is weird, but can be bypassed by setting up a second account on the tablet and using that. The only thing that annoys me is the ads that are displayed while in standby. It's not enough to pay for a tablet and still be forced to see ads? That's annoying to me.

We had the 7" Fire and it died 5 days after the warranty expired. We upgraded my wife to this one and then ability to turn off the blue light so you can get tired is awesome. great product

Very convenient to carry and store books and other apps (games, shopping lists, etc.). Easy to interface with Amazon to get new things. Also easy & convenient to store purchases in the cloud and only download what you want and the corollary to that is that it is great to have enough memory to download items for when you don't have internet access.

I have been a kindle owner since they first came out. This version makes the lst kindle fire I've owned look like a museum piece. The clarity of the text for books is better, the speed arar faster and on the whole it is great. My major problem is that every time I open it from sleep mode it has an add for a computer game. I hate having to swipe this away every time I open it up as I check it frequently.

My husband gave me a Kindle Fire for Christmas 2 years ago and I have really enjoyed it. This year he gave me a Kindle Fire HD 10. It is awesome. It has taken a little time to figure some things out but I love it.

Love that I can increase the size of the font and my eyes don't get tired as quickly. I can read longer. Shopping on Amazon is amazing. The 8 x 10 is much better than the small one which I had for 3 years.

Went in looking for a basic Kindle and after speaking with the sales person decided the Kindle Fire was a better choice for my needs. Great product especially at such a reasonable price.

I've taken pictures and downloaded pics from my camera. I've also downloaded material from my old 7" Fire HD. I've downloaded some music and new game apps. So far I really enjoy the 10" screen. I've had it over a month and all is good! The only drawbacks for me is the battery life and the fact that I can't connect it to my printer.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my dad and he absolutely loves it! I have the HDX 8.9 and I'm impressed by the size of the display. I would recommend this to anyone!

I'm really enjoying my tablet, however the battery doesn't last as long as my husband's tablet. Battery takes awhile to charge too.

The Kindle Fire HD is great for watching movies, reading onlie books, or browsing the web. The display has great picture quality.

I've watched many episodes of various shows, the color, clarity and overall performance is amazing. Very pleased with the simplicity of the operation of the Fire.

Already had kindle fire but this one has a larger screen and camera feature is better.

I do enjoy the Kindle, but this model seems to have a problem with freezing. I took the first one back because I thought it was defective. It was exchanged for another, but this one does the same. Sometimes I have to turn it off to get it to restart.

The size was a little hard to get used to but once i did i really liked it. I would recommend this to everyone.

Cheaper than an ipad and still does everything I wanted

Enjoy using this for lots of functions. Like reading,skype,internet, movies, camera, etc. . Worth the money spent on it.

It's a great tablet for watching Amazon Prime and Netflix shows. Nice and light - doesn't seem like you're holding a tablet.
