I bought this Fire HD for my Mother in Law who has no experience on a PC. She easily learned how to browse the internet, use email and (of course) read e-books. Great device!

I had been avoiding buying the kindle for a couple years. I actually bought a tablet from a different company because I thought the kindle just couldn't offer what a true computer could. Well after 2 broke in less than I year I decided to give the kindle a try. Honestly, I could not be happier. It is truly a simple and all inclusive little product when you want to go online but have no interest in pulling out a computer. I have become another advocate of the kindle and wouldn't never have thought I would. Advantages: Light and small Large screen Greatest for reading books Access to commonly used app - pintrest / FB/ Google maps ect

The table is great if you have Amazon Prime. So many free content and it is easy to use. If you are buying it as a stand alone tablet, I would look for another OS.

I use my Kindle Fire for everything from reading to listening to my music to monitoring my home security system. I love this device!! Excellent value for the money.

Great for kids however there needs to be a way to upgrade the storage, believe it or not it runs out quickly especially with how many movies and photos little kids take

The Kindle Fire is a great tablet for the money. All the functionality of more expensive tablets and Amazon provides a great ecosystem if you're a Prime member.

I use this regularly as a reader and it is great. However, hey are misleading about available storage. It says 8gb but humanly get half of that as storage. Also, apps are limited so you have to sideload ALLOT of popular apps.

Purchased for 10 year old grand daughter - she is really enjoying - looking forward to skyping with her - great tablet for her first one. Thankful for the Geek Squad

I must say they had reviews about this kindle and they were kinda bad! I must say they were wrong! Love it! Best feature with this one is improved battery life.

I really like my Kindle Fire and find it is a perfect size for me to take with me wherever I go...it is lightweight and will even fits in my purse . I have only had it a month and have lots more exploring to do on it so am anxious to learn more about it soon!

Bought this for my teenage grandson for Christmas. He loves it and uses it for reading, to watch videos, Netflix, games etc. So far no issues at all with it.

I love it's simplicity and durabiltity. Very user friendly, and even though it's technically not an android, it's not difficult to allow apps for android to be installed onto the kindle. Me and my family love it!
