Screen is a little small, but it is very durable and picture is good. I would recommend this if you what a cheaper tablet.

The difference between the fire and fire HD is huge. Totally worth the money.

I got this for my daughter, as it has a kid mode that can be taken off later, and it's cheaper than the iPad Mini. It's not as friendly though. It takes a bit of work to open, then navigate some of the different menus that Apple makes a breeze. The apps don't seem as well developed either, and the screen rotation is a little slow. It is a good product, but if you can afford a bit more, go Apple

This is my first time buying a tablet. I choose the Fire because I wanted something that linked me with Amazon and my accounts being that I use them a lot. This tablet does not disappoint. I still think there could be more improvement with the camera and the operations of it but Amazon obviously did not make this tablet for that purpose. I am quite happy with it.

I traded a first generation Fire and a FireHD to get this, so I ended up paying only around $30 cash. The Kindle is pretty nice. This version has a nicer screen than earlier versions. It also has a camera on both sides, which makes some things easier. The processor isn't quite as fast as I had expected; some times it takes a moment to load an app or to return to the home screen when closing an app. It also does not have an HDMI output, unlike other generations of Kindle Fire. Still, it's a nice little reader, web device, video player, and tablet.

Love the new Fire HD, wonderful sound, beautiful pictures, and music and video downloads are easy. The only thing that we are having trouble with is downloading information off the Fire. Not to mention we really should have gotten the 16 gb.

I love my Kindle Fire HD! It's awesome, glad I decided to purchase it!

My son says it is easy to use and downloads apps and books quickly.
