Reader is very good too. Had the very firt version of Kindle fire and it just now died. I really liked it so I bought this one and was everything I expected. Screen still has a lot of glare in bright sunlight. Great for reading in dimly light or dark rooms.

excellent choice for the kids

Tricky at first when balancing different age groups, but once set up and everyone got the hang of things, it's been smooth sailing. All content controlled via the parental Amazon account. Can take advantage of Amazon's "Free App of the Day" and distribute to any of our devices.

great product, bad customer service

No one would help even after i asked for help and when one guy came over he just left saying he couldnt help me , he would send someone else over and just walked away. I was standing there waiting for almost 30minutes just to get someone to open a case and get two tablets out.
