I like that I can see the book covers of what I am reading and easily navigate to different parts of a book.

This is a great tablet for doing fun things (reading, music, pinterest, web surfing), but doesn't always work well for work stuff (home banking, editing and saving documents). That's ok tho... having something just for fun is a good thing!

I bought this tablet for my grandson because I didn't want to give him a cheap tablet that would not hold up, he's a hard user as he puts lot's of time on it. He is extremely happy with his Amazon Fire 7' so am I.

I purchased this for my wife to replace her 1st generation Kindle Fire. She was very happy with that but when offered the chance to upgrade, I did so. She is very happy with it and is constantly using it. It is convenient, easy to use and the screen definition is fantastic.

This tablet is amazing for kids. The only issue is the low memory storage. 8 GB is absolutely unacceptable.

My first kindle. Gives me all I want in a reader and also has internet connection. Easier to travel with than a laptop. Fully satisfied.

Not a terrible little tablet; I bought it for my mother but promptly returned and exchanged it for a Galaxy Tab 4 when I realized it couldn't run Google apps. The Amazon ecosystem is growing but still very sloppy in comparison to Android's native solutions. Make sure you're ready to be invested in the Amazon (or already are) system before purchasing this device.

Gave as a gift. Have not used it myself, except to charge it up before giving the gift.

I bought 2 of these for my sons and they love them. We've updated Kindles for them twice and this is the best one by far.

I gave the HD7 as a Christmas gift and she start having problems as soon as it open

This is my daughter's third kindle and i thought it was an upgrade from the others. This kindle freezes and eventually has charging issues just like the previous ones. I'll be purchasing a tablet next.

This tablet I bought to read books on. I was excited that I could download games and go on the internet. When I browsed around I realized that this is only good for reading books on, other than that it sucks for apps and browsing. I kinda wished that I had bought a regular tablet and just downloaded the kindle app.

My mother has been a kindle fan for about 3 years now and she wanted a new one so I bought her the Kindle Fire. She loves the new screen as well as how easy it is to operate.

The kids love it.they enjoy it for hours great for learning and games.

I had an e reader , a laptop, a full computer system, and a smart phone. I find this more user friendly.

My 10 year old loves the new Kindle for reading. He spends quality time on it and loves using his aA,axon gift cards to get books.
