Bought this tablet at a gift for the mother in-law, who is very technically challenged, to Skype with my wife. After showing her how to use the tablet she could easily navigate through the different apps and now Skype's with my wife on a weekly basis. Good tablet for the price.

Having moved from the Kindle Fire non-HD, 6 inch screen to this much better model, I truly enjoy reading on this device. My 63 year old eyes can see the larger screen, greater resolution 300% better than on my old Kindle. The extra memory is a bonus as well. Bravo, Kindle!

I got this Kindle primarily for my 12 year old son. He is rough on it. I find it very durable, and user friendly for me, who didn't grow up using computers. I was worried that the screen just wouldn't be large enough for watching movies, but for one person it's just fine.

I already owned a Kindle Fire. I purchased the Fire HD7 to get an upgrade. Wrt to my old Kindle Fire, I thought the Web connection was slow. It is definitely better on the Fire HD7. I also like the lighter weight and the thinnest of the Fire HD7 as compared to the Kindle Fire.

This is the third kindle that is in my household. Both my girls have one we bought this one for my 2.5 year old she loves it. It's easy to use and you can put parental controls on so they don't buy apps. There are many kid apps out there for the kindle the only app I couldn't get but is on my kindle and my other daughters is Disney jr app.

I bought the Kindle as a Christmas present for my girlfriend and am impressed with the quality and ease of use. The display is dynamic and apps are easy to use. The operating system is fast and overall, I prefer using it over my iPad. Also, Best Buy refunded me $15.00 after it went on sale 2 days after I purchased it. Great deal!

I can do almost anything on my Kindle Fire that I can on my laptop. It is lightweight, sturdy and very easy to use. I use it as much for the games and apps, as I do for books.

Coming from the original Kindle Fire, this is a major improvement. Crisp screen and smooth, intuitive interface. Really couldn't be happier with our purchase. Was able to sideload Nook reader and Google Books app. This really is an all in one tablet with books, movies, and all of our favorite android apps. Highly recommend

The Kindle is easy and fun to use. I bought two of them past Christmas for my 12 years old and my 7 year old . They have survived intact, these tablets are sturdy and light weight. Highly recommend for kids.
