Wanted something easy to use for my family as well to order on Amazon. Prime membership is the best instead of waitting for the 2 day shipping got it the same day.

Bought this for my niece who is 23 and has Down Syndrome. She loves playing all kinds of games and she knows how to order games, music, and other items online.

Like being able to read books on this device rather than carrying them around with me since I usually read several books a once. My only beef would be that if you play games or internet browse the battery life is minimal.

The Kindle Fire does it all! Couldn't be happier. Great resolotion. Enjoy watching movies, playing games, reading books, and checking email. Worst complaint I have is all the Amazon advertisement wanting you to spend money!

This is a great product and although I am an Apple fan, I would definitely encourage others to purchase a Kindle Fire-specifically for reading through Amazon!

Very good battery life and the processor responds great when connected to the web.

The kindle had access to many books, games, and other items. Dealing with Amazon was easy and at good prices. Reading on the kindle was better than on books.

Our granddaughter enjoys her Kendal for reading as well as gaming and watching Netflix. of course limits have to be implemented and parental controls set. .

Made me a hero with my husband! Gave it to him before a trip and he loved it for reading books, email and worked just like an iPad....only much cheaper.

Amazon Fire is a good entry level tablet. Works very well if there is high speed internet available. Picture quality is as expected. Great for streaming movies and shows. I just wish it was a lot less bulky.

I got this to replace our first gen Fire for a small additional cost after trading it in and was very happy. Its a great value but the device has been a little buggy, hopefully cause its new. The processor is definitely faster. Not happy with the position of the sleep/wake button.

bought this for my wife as she has the original Kindle. It was time for an upgrade and in color. More options with the Kindle Fire. Gets used daily.

I bought this to replace my Kindle Fire. I like it but I think I liked the Kindle Fire better. It was easier to use and the battery lasted longer.

Seems pretty easy to navigate. I have never had a tablet and really bought this to replace a regular Kindle. Haven't done much but read books.

I've wanted a tablet and the iPad is too expensive. I also have a kindle third generation and wanted a new one.....this foot the bill perfectly!

Kindle fire was a replacement for my mother. Perfect device for her, since she was comfortable with the functions. Great sale price as well!
