This is my first tablet ever. It does not let me down. It is light, easy to hold, has a bright and clear screen, plays wonderful music, categorizes things for easy access to all sorts of entertainment, shopping, reading, and so much more. It works best with a prime membership that offers all membership benefits that come handy. Love this all-in-one tablet.

Bought this for my wife to replace her 1st gen Amazon Fire. Such a better product than the original. Perfect for what she needs it for such as reading and watching shows on Amazon prime. The slim size and light weight was very impressive when compared to the original. Great purchase!

Bought it for my mother, she had one of the original ones, & it has been perfect for her. With the back light, color, size of screen, all the options, including sound & font size, & ease of use she has really enjoyed it. I want one to replace my old one too!

I like the new size of the fire tablet and the improvements they have made on them.

The tablet started up properly, and did its updates to our account properly. There is no paper user guide, so some things had to be figured out by trail and error even thou there is an electronic manual that you have to know it is in it.

It's much nicer than the original Kindle Fire and I though the original was great!

Only bad thing is she keeps having issues with the apps, just like on her last generation.

I have started using it to replace my tablet as well as for the obvious use as a reader.

This tablet really will work best for people who are totally locked into Amazon Prime. I am not. I wanted a decent tablet to watch my Amazon videos (that I bought; not through Prime,) and read books bought through Kindle on, but I ended up returning this. The product itself feels very cheaply made and plasticy. I did really like the "widescreen" effect when I was watching movies on it; but the poor visual quality (I've seen on "HD" tablets that have better quality than this one,) really disappointed me. Also, the new Amazon Kindle Fire layout leaves a lot to be desired. I will wait and see if something better comes out.
