Bought it for my kids. Never bought Amazon tablets before because Youtube kids is a must have. However, installing Google Playstore, framework and services was surprisingly easy and from there was just easy. There was an excellent list of games and entertainment on Amazon store and integration with my Prime account was extremely simple. Price point for the performance and quality of this tablet $49.99 8" 16GB & $79.99 32GB) against most other ordinary name tablets which are $100+ is outstanding. Presence of ads and other material really isn't a problem and well worth the discount I'm very happy.

I love this tablet. It’s a perfect size. It’s bigger than a phone but smaller than a laptop. I really bought it for reading but I use it for everything...,games, read my emails, stream music, and search the web.

Let me tell you the truth. This in no way replaces my IPad. It does work well and I use it daily. I like the Alexa options but I have to keep it plugged in all the time because it doesn’t hold its charge all day.

I bought 3 of these as gifts for the holidays and 1 for myself.I still have a 1st gen that we've had for many years.It still works as good as the day we got it.you just can't beat a fire for the price

Tablet works great for a 7yr old. He has no trouble using it and playing with it. Simple entertainment for trips, car rides or when the weather is bad outside. Like the parental controls on it also.

I bought this to replace one that was left behind in an airport. In less than two years it began not holding a charge for very long and would sometimes not charge at all. I have to stand it upright and have the charger insert “just right” in order for it to charge. In order to keep the charge for more than a day, I have to shut it down completely rather than putting it into the sleep mode. I’ve had several kindles over the years, two of which had major problems.

Bought 4 Kindle Fire tablets for my Two grandsons. The quality is great and ease of use. They are 11 and 10 now. I bought their first ones when they were 7 and 8.

As long as Wi-Fi is available, this little Beauty helps me keep working. Camera ain't much to write home about, but I didn't purchase for that feature. Easy to use, very healthy battery and long time between charging.

So Happy with my Kindle Fire.....great size,lightweight, and I love it to play my games. Would definitely [purchase again. You can not beat the kindle fire :)

First, the bad. I hate the advertisements and the fact that you can't access the vast library of Android apps via Google Play. Nevertheless, you can do most of the things on the Internet that you need to while still have access to Amazon Fire-friendly apps that will keep you informed and entertained. The good news is that the HD8 has an expansion slot for a microSD card and increasing storage space is where the Fire HD8 dances all over the iPad. Add in a 128GB microSD card and you'll have tons of room for audiobooks, ebooks, music files, photos, and videos. The HD8 also has Amazon Alexa in case you're looking for automated help to shop or move around from interest online or on your Kindle Fire. It's a good buy - especially if you buy one when they are on sale!

I bought this for my wife so she could get internet access and check mail without having to leave the room. She loves it and is totally hooked on it! The price was good as well.

Wife dropped and cracked my other one and we had to replace it. She loves all products Amazon and we are starting to automate the home. This helps ALOT!

Overall a very solid tablet. Good amount of storage and the price was very fair. My wife uses it all the time and my 5 year old son uses it too so it very easy to get around.

Small tablet, but does big job for the bucks. Was recommended by a clerk at Walmart. I bought it at Best Buy, because I had a bad experience buying with Amazon.com

I love my new Kindle, it's easy to use. It was very easy to get started, I downloaded everything from my old Kindle Fire and was ready to go in a very short amount of time.

This is a quick and responsive tablet. Apps are limited to The Amazon store for the most part so it's important to make sure the apps you want are both available on Amazon and compatible with this tablet.

Bought this for my wife to replace her older fire tablet. Its much faster than the older version and it came in her favorite color (yellow). Great tablet for the price.

My son has had an older version for several years so we are updating to a newer version for Christmas he has loved his old one dearly and it has held up great

This is my first tablet and I am learning my way around and really enjoying myself. I keep finding more uses for it that I hadn't thought of. Glad to know I can add memory if need be.

I have never owned an Amazon tablet. It is great for what I need it for. Not loving the backspace key on keyboard- hit it often by accident when typing. overall a great price for it.
