Amazon fire tv has faster processor and more memory than firestick which makes the guide and navigation much faster, have sling tv app installed and scrolling through menus etc is really fast. Would recommend this to other people considering amazon firestick to choose this instead.

A very responsive equipment and easy to install. I have accounts for Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu Live and this gadget has it all. I started to cut the cord and stopped paying outrageous amount for cable and the Amazon TV fits the bill. It is very responsive and the remote is voice-activated at the same time. These are the top streaming devices...Amazon TV, Roku and Apple TV...Apple TV is just expensive.

In an effort to reduce our monthly TV expenses we purchased a Fire TV. We already had Amazon Prime and added Netflix and Playstation Vue. Fire TV was very easy to set up. The FireTV remote is very small with only a few buttons; it was easy to pair with the box. It took some time to learn how to find what we wanted to watch and you may find it difficult to explain how to use it to someone that is not real comfortable with computers. But that is an issue with the apps rather than FireTV itself. We are happy with this purchase and ended up getting a Firestick for the TV in the kitchen. Goodbye Cable!

I picked this up out of sheer frustration after my new Roku Premiere + remote froze three separate times. While that might have been user error I wasn't going to try that again. The Fire TV has been no problem at all so far and the 4K is beautiful. To be honest the only complaint I have SO FAR is that the remote control's back makes it difficult to replace batteries. This is the 2015 model.

This device is easy to set up. Paired with wireless router, and loads video content quickly.

The 4K model exceeded my expectations as far as a streaming media player for the home entertainment system. It is easy to use even for a beginner. I like the voice command remote feature which eliminates a lot of button pressing. There are a lot of apps availabe and it integrates with Amazon prime customers. Overall, I highly recommend this box to those who like to spend a lot of time in front of their tv.

Surprised how powerful this little thing is. Easy to use and setup was a breeze.

I've had this for about a month and so far, it's all good. The remote that I can speak into is cool and most of what I say is recognized correctly by Alexa. I like that I can place Amazon orders this way if I feel the need. The only con, as of now, is that the battery cover is hard as h&ll to get off.

I purchased this after owning the Amazon Fire Stick. The Fire TV is faster and has expandable memory. We have since cancelled our satellite TV and rely on the Fire TV for our entertainment. Easy set up and perfect for Amazon Prime members.
