Decent quality for that price I'd rather the whitepaper one

I bought this for my wife who reads all of the time in or outdoors. She loves it because there is no glare and the battery literally lasts FOREVER.

Have an iPad, my usual Kindle reader. But, was worried about using in the sun on a cruise. This was an Open Box deal at the local store, and I'm glad I picked it up. For just reading, much better. Wish the swiping was a tad smoother, but that's not a deal breaker.

The touch screen does get annoying now and then when you accidentally turn the page. You see less books at a glance on the home screen but now they're pictures of book covers instead of just titles. Typing and searching is way easier now with the touch screen.

When you want to enjoy a minimalist read, the Kindle is the way to go! None of the distractions that are on your typical tablet, and a much better viewing experience due to the e-ink display.

My adult son requested a simple e-reader, NOT back-lit because that bothers his eyes. He uses his laptop for gaming, movies etc. so he wanted a single function device. This was just the right thing to meet his needs!

In terms of size, the reading screen is the same size as the older e-Ink Kindles. It is thicker - though lighter - than the Kindle Paperwhite. But I'd say it's not really a noticeable difference especially when you put it in a protective cover.

Enjoy reading my books with out having to carry around a larger, heavier book. The page is light and easy to read.

Very comfortable for the eyes, you can read several hours without feeling fatigue. You can also rent e-books from your local public library and read them on the tablet.

The amazon kindle 6"-4GB is affordable and gets the intended job done

Purchased a Dell computer during Black Friday! Love it, the only thing I dislike is the short battery life! The computer itself I love, this is my first laptop!

Bought as a gift for an avid reader and they really enjoy using the Kindle. They find it easy to use and easy on the eyes. The amount of storage is good too.

I purchased this to replace an older unit. Had to get used to the touch screen. I think I like physical buttons better. Holds a charge for a very long time. Highly recommended.

A nice and simple kindle that works for the price. A eBook reader that is sturdy and can hold tons of books.

I bought the kindle as a gift to my niece. She used to read books in her smartphone, now she is very happy with her new kindle!

It does what it says it will do; it just doesn't do enough. Can not download or transfer any books from our local libraries. Can buy books from Kindle and that's about it. Was told by salesperson this unit did not have "special offers", but it does. Overall I'm not very satisfied with this model. Should have spent more money on better unit.
