Like being able to carry a library with you

We had just had an ice storm and he was stranded alone with no tv or source of entertainment for several days. Now he makes sure he has his kindle loaded with several books and with him where ever he goes.

Replaced older Kindle

I purchased it primarily for book reading, my other Kindle is one of the first versions, the Fire is a welcome upgrade. I highly recommend the Kindle Fire.

Amazon - Kindle Fire HD 7 (Previous Generation)

They watch videos, play an extensive assortment of free games downloaded from Amazon, and use the camera to Skype with their grandparents.

Great device for a novice
