As an educator for nearly two decades, I was “anti-device” for reading books. Everything we do is on a screen nowadays; I want to hold and smell books for the nostalgia. BUT I finally caved after talking to my best friend who has loved her kindle for years. Reading is a hobby and passion of mine, and now, I can carry my kindle anywhere I go and do not have to worry about carrying books. I’m obsessed!

Wow! I never thought I’d say I love my Kindle more than my physical books. It’s just something about being able to lie in bed toss and turn with no issues with reading a book comfortably no matter the angle. No worries of holding the book open nor having enough light. Able to see progress in book and change the font size. I love it! So convenient! Oh and did I mention it’s a nice size to travel in bag/purse! No worries of damaging your book and you’ll have multiple books on hand. AMAZING!

My wife reads a lot, she probably has a couple hundred books read on this thing since I bought it for her. Great if you read a ton and the screen is great for multiple environments whether it be indoors or outside somewhere.

The Kindle Paperwhite is a solid e-reader that is easy to use and set up, and should last for a long time. I thought it was a great value and use it for digital library books and purchases.

It was a great purchase. I love the available options to change the lighting and font size. The light weight is also a plus.

I’m not really a big reader, but I tried my dad’s kindle while on an 8hr flight and I realized it’s very convenient to use and actually was fun to use to read books. One of my major issues is that I tend to lose my line while reading a physical book, but with a kindle it was not the case. Definitely love using this. Now I’m on my 3rd book reading on a kindle :)

Perfect size, great anti/glare, long battery life.

This is one thing I would recommend buying new moms for nursing sessions! It helped me stop doom scrolling and read some books while pumping or during longer nursing sessions etc. I know some people say you can just download the kindle app but its not the same, plus it’s distracting due to notifications and having social media at your finger tips.

One of the best purchases I've made in a while. Will be traveling the next couple months and didn't want the weight of books, but the kindle has surpassed my expectations. A bit slower compared to the touch sensitivity of an iPad or iPhone, but the display feels weirdly similar to a book especially when you're reading in the sun.

The Kindle is fantastic. I switched from listening to Audible. It’s lightweight making it easier to read anywhere. Also, extremely easy to navigate. It allows for brightness, text size, screen softness. I love you can touch a word & get meanings. Leave a bookmark, so you don’t loose your place. Lots of good reads, as well.

Great. Works great in bright light outdoors. Charges great. Doesnt over heat. Durable.
