I bought this for my teenager and she likes it very much. She can use regular not just kids kindle. She also tends to carry it in most of her purses. It would be better if the size was bigger, as well as if it included color. The illustrations are an important part of reaing yet there are no illustrations in the kindle unless you are reading on your phone. Overall this is a good purchase who love reading, howerver there could be improvements.

I am highly impressed with my purchase of the kids Kindle Paperwhite. The quality is excellent and it is made very durable with a lot of protection. I bought this for my 8 year old and he has improved in reading while having this device. He has sound many age appropriate books that interest him. I love that this device does not have games or other apps that can be a distraction. It is easy to set up and use. I highly recommend it!

I purchased my Kindle from Best Buy, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. It has completely transformed how much I read — I’ve been going through more books than ever before! The device is incredibly handy, lightweight, and easy to carry anywhere, whether I’m at home or on the go.

I purchased this based on a NY Times review, and wished that they had mentioned my biggest pain point. The big selling points to me were the lack of ads without paying additional, the free cover, and, most of all the readability. I love the size, and readability, and the magnetic cover. However, I resent that Amazon requires you to review every book when you finish it. For a kids version, the reviews are unrealistic. It tells me why there are so many reviews for ebooks - if the reviews are required. I cannot find any way that I can skip the review (I won't review unless it's a book that I actually want to review) other than to restart the Kindle at the end of the book. While I like the cover, I do miss the cover that I had on my Fire tablet, which folded to become a stand. If I had to do it over again, I probably would have gone with another Fire tablet, only because of the reviews and the lack of a stand.

I bought this because I’ve been loving reading, lately. This is the EXACT same as the adult kindle, you get a case and more storage with this option. Also, when I purchased this was discounted significantly from the regular price, so I couldn’t pass it up! The kids access on the kindle is easy to exit and there are NO ads on this version. :) I do not use the amazon kids app and it works just as a normal kindle!

I bought this as a gift for my 10year old daughter. She was so excited and it was ready to use right out of the box. Downloading the books was easy and she has already completed a book in 3 days. Perfect size, love the cover and easiness to use.

Excellent for kids as the product has good display, easy to download books , carry on cover, good memory size. Overall an excellent product with value for money and keeps kid engaged in books.

I love my kindle! This was by far the best purchase to help with my school reading and my personal library! My babies are enjoying amazon kids reading subscriptions for books we do not have in the libary.

So far it's been great and no issues. My kids are also enjoying the Amazon kids access that's included. I also love that it came with a longer warranty than the adult kindle version.

This is my favorite way to read books. Especially while in the car. There is no glare. I bought the kids edition because I did not want to be able to get on the net with it. And it has a 2 year warranty.

Marketed towards kids but with the included protector case, decent size and good deal this is the perfect adult Kindle package.
