The Kindle Scribe is a solid e-reader and note-taking device, but it feels slightly expensive for the features it offers. The white paper-like screen makes reading easy on the eyes, and the notepad feature is handy for making quick notes. Writing on it is smooth, and organizing notes is simple, which is a big plus. However, I had issues connecting it to my AirPods, though other Bluetooth devices worked fine. The biggest downside is that it’s not very responsive to touch in general—I had hoped Amazon would have improved in this area over time. Overall, it’s good but not quite perfect.

The Kindle Scribe has completely streamlined how I stay organized, both at work and at home. I originally picked it up for work notes and meeting agendas, but now I use it daily for everything—journaling, to-do lists, grocery planning, even reading during downtime. The writing experience is incredibly smooth and natural. It really feels like writing on paper, but without the clutter. I love being able to jot down notes directly on PDFs or create notebooks for different projects. It’s also great that everything syncs, so I can access my notes across devices if needed. Battery life is excellent—I go days without needing to charge it. And of course, it’s still a Kindle at heart, so reading on the glare-free screen is easy on the eyes, even in bright light. If you're someone who loves to write things down and stay organized without carrying around stacks of notebooks, the Kindle Scribe is a total win. It’s become an essential part of my workday and my personal routine.

Honestly, I think that both my wife and I thought that the writing notes on a Kindle would be a gimmick when I bought her this. Now a year into owning it, she uses it every day at work, every day at home, all the time. Writing on the Kindle really does feel like writing on paper, and its been a surprisingly durable product. Sometimes I think that we as people collectively toss Kindle's into the same category as iPads. Kindle's are so much more durable and efficient, its insane. Still getting weeks of battery life after year, still no scratches or blotches on the screen, still driving as fast as it was on day one. Definitely reccomend.

Love it. Writing on the device is smooth and better than the Kobo Sage. battery life is noticeably better then the kindle oasis. I don’t like the post it note style when kobo allows you to write directly on the book so in that aspect Kobo Sage is better. I really like the notepad on the Kindle scribe, flawless writing.

A life changer . I was skeptic about the price and the value it offers . After first few days , I certainly can feel the difference . Lot more reading and writing and taking notes is a go to option for my meetings .

I love this Kindle. The size alone had me sold. I’m not constantly flipping pages, because so much text can be displayed on the screen. As a bonus, the writing experience is very smooth. This has been a great upgrade from my Oasis.

[Employee of bestbuy] The screen asize and clarity of the screen is perfect. The pen writes just like a pencil on paper. The eraser effect mimics the pencil pedectly. This kindle is the absolute need for anyone that is a hardcare reader. I highly recommend it!

This Kindle is as large as an iPad making it so easy to read from. The ability to take notes is a fantastic idea. However, I still prefer the Kindle Oasis.

[Employee of bestbuy] Love love love this kindle. Haven't had a kindle in years but this one piqued my interest with the ability to write on it with its pen and even save, share, and turn written words into text documents. It is a bit cumbersome without a case so definitely recommend getting one of those. Also wish the user interface was a bit more intuitive bit overall, once I understood how it operated, it's fairly easy to navigate. That being said, I love this device. I am a writer and being able to actually WRITE down my thoughts or ideas or scenes if my muse strikes WHEN it strikes is awesome. The pen is easy to use and there is little to no delay when writing--very smooth. Definitely recommend.

The scribe is so easy to use. I love how thin and manageable it is. I gifted this to my fiancé and he totally loved it and I did too. I’m going to have to buy another one because I keep trying to use it.

The larger screen is great for reading. The scribe ability allows for note taking whether for read book comments or other notes and reminders.

It’s exactly what I thought it would be. The screen is so gentle to read from. The pen works wonderfully in the notebook function. The battery life of this thing is unbelievable.
This is by far the best iteration of the Kindle. The size alone is a game changer but adding the pdf and note taking features and it crushes the more expensive less versatile Re-Markable.

[Employee of bestbuy] Great for writing notes. It also is cool to be able to hook up headphones and listen to an audio book if I want to. The reading is like any other kindle just a larger screen.
