This case is very nice. Fits the paperwhite perfectly. Looks and feels nice. Powers the paperwhite on and off just by opening and closing the flap. The flap folds out of the way for easy use. The case is designed by Amazon, its a great case just a little pricey.

Case is slim and lightweight, but protects my kindle. Doesn't add any bulk.

nice quality leather hard case. The fit is secure and the case feels very protective. It is pricey, especially compared to the no-name bargain stuff online, but the quality is high.

This turns off your kindle when you close it, saving power. I also like it that it protects it and the front cover will go right behind the back and it is easy to hold that way. I thought it was pricey at first, but it is just what I needed. I was given a kindle paperwhite as a gift and I have used it constantly and would not have liked it as much without this cool case.

Let's face it, this is a case. it literally has one job and that is to protect the device within. It excels at this and looks classy as well. My fiancee had one request for a case, that it be purple. This case also excels at that. Not only is it purple, but it is royal purple and it aids in the feeling that you are royalty when reading the device. Perfect!

I got a new Kindle Paperwhite, and needed a cover to protect it. I was going to buy a non-Kindle brand, but decided to get the leather Kindle cover. I'm so glad I did because it functions great and fits the paperwhite perfectly with no gaps between the Kindle and the cover. Love the purple color!

While it is a bit pricey for my liking, I have decided that I'm happy I bought it. It gives the Paperwhite a closer book feel, and makes it easier to hold in your hand. I really like that it automatically puts the Paperwhite to sleep when you close it and wakes it when you open it (I never remembered to turn the screen off on my own). I actually like the interior texture better than the exterior, but I'm not much of a pleather guy. It's higher quality fake leather than with the Note 2, but it still doesn't feel close to real leather. Disappointing only considering the relatively steep price. But it's better than the alternatives and really does do the job well.

My wife's Kindle broke after a fall (well, after a lot of falls), but she'd never used a case on it. The new Paperwhite I bought her (which is awesome) is a lot heavier, so we wanted to make sure it was more protected (also, we have a 3-year-old, so cases are quickly becoming vital to our electronics). I was hesitant, as this case is a little expensive, but in the end I think it's worth it. The fit is fantastic - no worries about slippage - and isn't so bulky that it gets in the way. When you close the cover, it automatically turns the Kindle off, so that's a nice power-saving bonus. I would recommend this case.

After I received my Kindle Paperwhite for Father's day I wanted to find a protective case to keep it safe and protect the screen from scratches when I shove it in my laptop bag. Most of the other Non-Amazon choices, while they looked cool on the outside, they retained the ereader with those annoying elastic gathers that fit over the corners of your device. This Amazon version is molded to the exact shape of your Kindle and it snaps on. This case looks like it just becomes part of the Kindle. The Front cover is held in place by a magnet. It works very well. Frankly I just wished they included it with the device in the first place. If you are going to use a case this will be the only one worth using.

This is a very nice and lightweight cover that goes above and beyond what previous versions of Amazon-branded e-Ink Kindle covers have done: it is super-compact, lightweight, and holds the Paperwhite about as snug and secure as you can imagine - they have made this cover so that the Kindle fits into a recessed pocket in the cover for a snug fit that you won't have any fear of falling out, the hinge wearing out over time and your Kindle dangling or falling out, or some type of fabric wearing out from use.

This leather case is great for my Kindle. It's very sturdy, it will turn my Kindle on and off for me, and it smells amazing. I'm just a little worried at times about folding it back behind my Kindle so I can hold it easier without it getting overworn and tearing, but overall, it's awesome.

This case fits my Kindle Paperwhite perfectly, and I have no doubt that it will protect it well. The case is not too heavy and not too thick. I feel like it's slightly on the expensive side, but for the build quality and the protection it provides, I can live with it.

I initially bought a new Paperwhite without the case as I did not think I needed it. However, holding the reader without a case is a little awkward and there was no protection for my backpack. Get the case...it works great...feels great...and looks good!

I was looking for a cover for my Paper White that would provide protection, be less bulky, and look nice. This cover works great! The screen comes on when I lift the cover and automatically puts it sleep mode when I close it, staying securely closed.

I like the open/on feature a lot. Also the fact that when open, can fold cover back so don't need two hands to hold. Seems very sturdy and am hoping it will offer a klutz like me the protection it will need. I do feel however, that it is rather on the expensive side.

I recently purchased a Kindle Paperwhite ebook reader, and like all my other Kindle readers, I immediately saw the need for some protection of the device. There are several alternative (non-Kindle) covers available, but this one is the very best for one excellent reason: It has a built-in magnet in the cover, so when you've finished your reading session, simply flip the cover closed and the Paperwhite goes to sleep! No fumbling for that elusive, tiny push button to turn it on and off. When you want to resume reading, simply open the front cover and swipe the screen of the Paperwhite; it comes alive right where you left off! An automatic bookmark! The front and rear covers are very rigid and provide excellent physical protection for the Paperwhite reader. Reject all "wannabe" covers and get this real thing -- a Kindle cover!
