The Black textured finish is flawless!, The Kindle Paperwhite fits properly in the leather cover's 'Interior'. It's a really a good fit! It's great knowing that my kindle is secure. The magnetic clasp keeps the cover securely closed without the need for straps. I simply flip open the cover to start reading on my Kindle. When I am finished, I just have to close the cover and my kindle goes to sleep. Now that's user-friendly! I agree that this leather cover is overpriced. However, it compliments the Kindle Paperwhite in both looks and functionality.

Fits Paperwhite just perfectly; light weight, shuts off device automatically, easy to hold. It makes the Paperwhite the perfect e-reader. It is worth the price.

This leather case for the Kindle Paperwhite is a perfect fit and gives a book-like feel while holding the paperwhite. The magnetic closure is a great feature and works great for putting the kindle to sleep/awakening it when opening and closing.

This is a must for someone who travels - I bought the Kindle because I wanted a reader that would fit inside my purse, the case covers front and back keeps it safe and shuts it off when I’m finished. Work like a charm.

The case is a perfect fit for my Paperwhite. I like the book style but wish I had more color choices. With the case and Kindle its much lighter than my leather case with my old kindle with keyboard. I take it everywhere with me. Highly recommend

I wasn't going to get the cover because the new Kindle paperwhite is so slim and lightweight, but I'm so glad I purchased it. It fits beautifully, provides excellent protection, and makes reading even more enjoyable because it gives the Kindle the feel of a book rather than a piece of technology! Although I loved my Kindle without the cover, I love it even more now! Added bonus: it's great to have the Kindle wake and sleep so easily!

The cover fits perfectly. I like the feel of it in my hands; it is very light and comfortable to use. The auto off when closing the cover is great. I did think the price was somewhat high, considering this is not a large case. It appears to scratch easily. I have only owned the cover a month, and there is already a scratch on the front which is very prominent. I think this says a lot about the durability, (or perhaps the quality) of the product, as I am very careful in the handling if all my devices. Of course,better the cover get scratched than the screen! I would buy this cover again. I researched several covers that were cheaper, but they did not fit as good as this one. Just handle it with care to avoid scratches in the leather.

My wife uses this on her new Kindle. Fits like a glove as for it is made for the Kindle. She has said after much use that it is a much better design than that of her previous Kindle. Lighter, easier to open and fold back behind the Kindle.

I'm normally very picky about the cases that I buy for my devices. For all of my previous Kindles (3 of them), I bought Oberon cases. I upgraded to the Paperwhite on a day that I was getting ready to travel and didn't have time to order an Oberon case. So, I bit the bullet and bought the Amazon-branded case. I haven't regretted my purchase for a moment. The device is fully protected when the cover is closed and still has ample protection when it is open. The material is comfortable to hold for long periods and has enough grip to keep me from easily dropping it. The only thing I would add to make it 100% perfect is a way for the cover to attach to the back so that it wouldn't shift while being held. However, it's just a minor annoyance.

This case fits the Kindle Paperwhite very snug while not adding a lot of bulk. It may cost a little more than some 3rd party brands but it is well made and it seems like it was made to last a long time.

Love this cover as it fits perfectly. Love that it turn on the kindle just by opening and closing it. Since its 1/2 the price I paid for the Kindle Paperwhite, I find that a bit pricey, but then they all are.

Simple case and durable. My kindle snapped right in and I love how the magnetic closure turns it on and off. Comes in gorgeous colors and wears well.

The Amazon case fits the Kindle Paperwhite perfectly. It snap closes and folds behind when using the Kindle. It's easy to hold and offers some nice protection for the screen and entire Kindle.

The cover fits like a glove and does not add much bulk or weight to the Kindle. I just love the magnetic closer which shuts-off and turns-on the unit when you close and open the cover respectively. Really cool! Easy to hold in the open book or fold-back position. Just wish it came with a built-in stand to prop it up on a table. It is a bit pricey when you compare it to the price of the Kindle itself, but the cover is well-made and provides ample protection and that is what counts.

Got a nice leather case for my kindle paper white. It feels good in my hand and provides protection for my kindle. Years ago I had a kindle at was damaged on vacation because I didn't use a case.

This case is perfect. It doesn't add much weight and turns on the Kindle when you open the cover. It's substantial enough to protect the device. I carry it in my purse and I love it.

The classy leather case is very protective for my Kindle Paperwhite and has kept the screen from getting scratched and dusty. It is light and slim, and easily fits in my purse.

The cover adds to the use of the reader, protects it. The cover make it seem like a real book. I like color of my cover but it would be nice if it was available in more colors.
