This case was a gift, to go along with a paperwhite Kindle. The purple color is very pretty. The Kindle goes in easily and fits securely. The clasp is secure. Great product.

I have no complaints about this case for the kindle touch. I love that it takes the kindle out of sleep mode when I open the case, and puts it into sleep mode when I close it.

Received as a Christmas gift. Very light and thin. Nice snug fit. Really like the way the cover folds back for reading with one hand. Like that it has a magnetic clasp rather than any straps. Would like Best Buy to offer more color options.

I did some research before proceeding with this original leather case and I found other really good cases (online) that promised to have a good fit and were of good quality. After reading a complete article the verdict to go with the genuine case as it offers a better fit. As far as protection goes all the other generic cases could have been as good as this one. Nonetheless, not all of the cases come with the magnet that this one has and it detects once you open the case and the Kindle will turn on. If you do not mind spending some extra bucks I would highly recommend this case for the high quality and the fit!

This is my second Kindle. When I bought my first one, I went through browsing numerous stores looking for the "right" case. In the end, I bought the "real" Kindle case. This time, having learned my lesson, I went directly to the manufacturer's custom case, and I couldn't be more pleased. The new model uses a more heavily textured leather, so it doesn't show scars as quickly as the smooth-finished previous generation case. The magnetic catch turns the reader on and off as one opens and closes the cover; a nice feature. I once dropped my reader from a high table onto a tiled, wood floor. Luckily, the reader landed flat, but I am confident that the case, which has a tight custom fit, provided that last bit of protection which prevented damage to my Paperwhite. Overall, a great accessory to a great product. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a case for their Kindle Paperwhite.

This thing fits my paper white like it was made for it...oh it was, and that's why it's the best. Also the magnetic on/off feature was unexpected but very cool.

Perfect fit, not bulky, only drawback is Best Buy doesn't carry the different colors, but I didn't want to wait to order it from Amazon.

This case is well built and fits the paper white without issue. The magnetic closure system works as advertised. Very nice case for the money. Recommended.

The Leather cover, really seems to protect my Kindle very well. It surrounds the side, back and corners with a rubber cushion that also holds the Kindle in place. I really like the fact that closing the cover turns off the screen, saving battery power. The leather feels good in the hand and the cover folds over the back for easy holding while reading.

Love that I was finally able to find a purple, my favorite color! Great protection for your kindle as I have dropped it and Kindle is perfectly protected!

This kindle cover offers excellent protection by keeping the kindle very secure. My kindle fits snugly without a chance of falling out. The exterior of the cover is easy to grasp. I also have a kindle keyboard which I store in a sleeve and read without a cover. The paper white cover makes reading enjoyable because of its lack of bulk and lightweight. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

It was easy to insert the kindle in it. Once you close the cover it turns off the kindle saving the battery. The hard cover gives great protection. Looks good and feels good in your hand.

Bought this in conjunction with the Kindle Paperwhite as a Christmas gift. Easy to put the Kindle into it and the magnetic snap works great. Nice little case for protection. I got it on sale and give it 4 stars due to price point. But function wise its a 5 star purchase.

It fits the Kindle perfectly, but needs a stand to keep it propped on a table. Ironically I've used a book to hold it up! Other brands had the prop but didn't fit as well. Associate at Best Buy said the manufacturers' selection was limited and this was the best they could do.

This case is great - it keeps my Kindle Paperwhite protected and automatically puts it to sleep/wakes it up when I close/open the cover.

I really like this case, it is sturdy, protects and looks nice, it is a bit pricey and as another reviewer pointed out it would be better with a pocket to hold items such as id or room key if on vacation. this should last a long time and feels good in the hand when reading. overall very happy with the purchase.

I bought this for my father in law after having bought him a kindle for his birthday last year. He loves the fact that this added minimum bulk while giving him the confidence that he needed to also bring it out of the house. Simple cover that works exactly as advertised.
