The Amazon Protective Case fits the tablet to a "T". It is the best for this tablet. I bought another cover, but I returned it because I thought It would eventually rip. This case feels sturdy, wipes off easily, and will be easy to carry. I recommend it.

I purchased this to go on my three-year-old's Amazon Fire instead of purchasing the Fire kid's version. He hasn't wrecked it yet, so I guess the case works as intended. It's got a snug fit, so it may be a challenge getting the Fire inserted.

This is a very snug fit for the Kindle. The Kindle stays in and the flap works as a protective cover. Works great for my 12 year old.

I do like it but $40 is a tad steep for something like this. I like the kickstand and it seems to do a good job of protecting the screen. I don't know how much it would protect from drops and I don't plan on finding out.

The case is fine, but I would only rate it 4 stars because the colors were very limited: black or purple. It was nice appearing, however, and appeared well made. However, it was sold to me along with my Amazon Fire and it does not fit the Amazon Fire. I relied on the sales person to help me know which case would work, and he handed me this one. The newest Fire currently on sale for $50 is simply the Amazon Fire. It is NOT the Amazon Kindle Fire. Nor is it the HD Fire. Amazon is differentiating between the Amazon Kindle Fire and the Amazon Fire. This is a new change that is not yet well known as of the date of this writing. So for size/fit due to poor info from salesperson, I give it 2 stars.

I wanted something to protect my kindle in case of drops and scratches and for standup. This works great.

This was the only option available at BB for Fire HD covers so it wasn't like I had a lot of choices. Its very simple and plain, not cool or funky, but does the job. Protects my fire and turns it off when closed.
