Fast, and silent. I like it. Huge upgrade over my laptop’s 6c/12t cpu, and the included cooler has mine idling around 42°c and maxing around 60° with basic gameplay, after removing AMD’s thermal compound and replacing it. Note, when removing the cooler from the cpu (after accidentally installing backwards), the cpu came off of the socket with the cooler. Didn’t damage anything thankfully, but do be aware of this possibility.

I'm coming from a overclocked i7 6700k cpu is the only change with 2080 MSI gaming x trio and gained 10-15 fps in my regular games I play. I bought this cpu to future proof my build and keeping it cool with my noctua nh-d15 temps hover around 50°C

I love how fast this CPU is for both single and multi-threaded processing. Also as an added bonus to us Gamer RGB PC fans (Pun Intended), it come with a sweet RGB Wraith Prism Cooler Fan that you can control the colors on. This was easy to swap out with my Ryzen 3 3100, almost plug and play to take the old one out and put the new one in.

It's great! You are going to need it, so just get it. It was definitely, an upgrade from my previous computer. I had fun building my own desktop and most of the parts I bought them from Best Buy because they are trustworthy and the employees are always there if you need any advice.

I've built PCs with Intel CPUs but this was first and build. Easy and smooth. No issues with any compatibility. I used msi x570 motherboard, Kingston hyperx fury ram 2666, and evga rtx2060. Icing on the cake was the awesome wraith cooler. Intel coolers are crap, but wraith prism is amazing.

i gotta admit any upgrade from my 2008 pentium xq something whatever is a great one BUT pros that i enjoyed while building and while using this pc: -i loved how easy it was to install it, honestly significant upgrade from Struggling with the LGA socket -i did put the cooler in upside down though RIP -in the cooler section there ARE two cables- one goes into an rgb header (fan) and a usb header (apparently for the little ring around it? couldn't get it 2 work) -compatible with aura sync, very sexy cons: -i heard the price 2 performance ratio wasn't great and i'm not *disagreeing* BUT i did literally get it the next day thank u best buy -took the second pic while writing this review to show how the little ring is out of sync

Im currently upgrading from a 1800x to the 3700x. The 3700x beats the 1800x at performance easily at single and multi threads. The cooler that comes with it looks cool too. Motherboard: Asus x570 E Gaming

Great processor, was used in building a gaming pc from scratch. The hardest part of the build was clipping the fan to the cpu. Once that was done, it was all downhill.

AMD Ryzen 7 - Get Power For Your Money!

I love AMD products. Big power for a good price. Benchmark's are typically better than Intel these days and I am very happy with my Ryzen build! My only complaint if I had to say something bad, is that the RGB connectors are on the opposite side of the Wraith Cooler from where the they are on most motherboards. The USB cable (for adjusting the cooler ring color) provided is just long enough to make the connection but not long enough for "clean" & hidden cable management. The RGB cable is perfect length, so I chose to sacrifice customizing the cooler ring color and only be able to change the fan color.
