I installed upgrading from a 2nd GEN AMD 2700 Processor that was reaching 3.6 Ghz with a B450 build and ended up reaching 4.3 Ghz when upgrading to the 3rd GEN AMD 3700X its a great processor that does run very fast.

processor runs great and even better bestbuy gave me the price match (from another website *cough*) 16 hours after i had already recieved mine from them. So 5 stars to amd and 5 stars to bestbuy for next day shipping AND the price match.

Got faster than expected. Works as advertised so far. You had the best price. This processor is fast, Paired up with SSD drives this thing is fast. Running Windows 10 and Linux Mint. Fan does what it supposed to do. Have nothing bad to say about it.

While reviewing chips for building a computer with my son, this chip was highly recommended and was on sale! At the moment it is performing beyond expectations as my son is fairly pleased with the results. Now a video card is another question?

Eats anything you throw at it, it is able to multitask easily without the usage or temp going up and the stock cooler does a very good job. Cons: it cant make you a mcnuggets unfortunately.

This is simply a great CPU purchase at a very good price match by Best Buy. The unit was delivered to my front door very fast. Excellent online buying experience. Did I mentioned that also received free Assassin Creed Valhalla with the purchase! :-)

Have loved AMD Since the old Athlon, and Durons. This one is fast. Nothing it wont do and more. I burned a blu-ray while playing Modern Warfare, and had 17 tabs open on chrome. Did not get a bad burn or a a lag in the game. 2080 GTX, 32GB, 970 EVO, Liquid, Slight OC 400+

Great CPU, bass clocks at 3.6 GHz, but out of the box it boosts to 4.2 GHz, performs really well, the in box cooler is reliable as well, the lighting effects can be controlled with a cooler master software

Coming from an Fx processor this was my way to go. With limited stock on the 5800 I decided to go with this processor. It's quick, and handles everything I throw at it. The power consumption on this is only 65 watts and be over clocked easily.

Upgraded from the ryzen 5 1600x and this CPU is a beast. Nothing else I can say about it. Temps are low with an AIO. Also if you’re deciding between Intel and ryzen just spend with the red guys now.

I have not used any AMD CPUs before so after doing researches online and knowing that AMD is just as good as INTEL's, I decided to try this. Bought a matching ITX board and to my surprise, it works great without any issues.

Worked great out of the box. Installed on an Asrock B450 Steel Legend without any issues. Would definitely buy CPUS from Best Buy since they did not mark above manufacturer's MSRP when the 3700x started to hit the shelves.

I was a long time fan and user of Intel cpus. Intel got to lazy with their products and amd caught them I'll with their pants down. Better value and performance compared to a similar priced intel cpu

I absolutely love this processor!!! I have found I can easily overclock my particular part to 4.35GHz all core with 1.385V. Hightly recommend buying this if you are streaming or doing any content creation!

I basically just rebuilt my PC and needed a new cpu for recording and rendering videos for YouTube. With the help of this cpu I’ve more than doubled the speed of my productivity and the performance of my games. I totally recommend this processor to anyone.

Fast and furious, mildly set back by bios issues. Everything is fully functional on my old MSI B350 Tomahawk, minus an inability to quite hit the single core boost target despite water-cooling. Still an incredible value.

I upgraded my system from a 4 core i5-6600k to this 3700X and an x470 motherboard. I can now game and livestream at the same time with no lag at all. My system is no longer CPU bound at 100% usage. AMD outdid themselves.

My son was completely surprised when I brought this home to him. He originally asked for Ryzen 5 3600. Once I explained to him that this one was was the newest version and was a better Processor he was elated. He is building his first computer.

Got it on sale for 299. Performance per dollar is easily the best deal in the market. Get this one or 3900x. Leave intel until they got something new. Also the rgb stock cooler works great and looks better

If you're looking at this, you've probably already done your research. I'd recommend it. 2600 memory controller died, replaced with this and upgraded to Fractal 360 AIO. Works great, temps never above 74c @ 4.2
