I tried to wait for zen 3 cpu's to become available and now the 5800x is readily available but honestly I have no regrets, it runs cool, it overclocks on its own to almost 4600mhz and is a gaming beast so very happy. In retrospect Im kind of glad i didnt wait the 5800x, it priced to high imho, but maybe if the 5900x or 5950x start coming in stock Ill grab that an put the 3700x in my mini pc

Ryzen 7 3700x. Worked perfectly. I really like the included heatsink/cooler. Nice lights and best part is it really cools! Running overclocked by the motherboard self OC test. Currently @ 4.05 Ghz. Using Corsair Vengeance 3600 Ram. More room to overclock but definitely is not needed. Plays COD War Zone flawlessly. Highly recommend this CPU for gaming or work. Great Performance at a great price.

The Ryzen 7 3700X is an excellent all around value and performer for the money as compared to a similar intel cpu; the build I used this cpu in is performing above my expectations in Cinebench R20 tests at over 4750. My purchase from Best Buy was competitive and delivery was quick.

The AMD RYZEN 7 3700X is a great processor. I used to always be an "Intel" guy until this build when I thought I would give AMD a try. It has been a great experience and I will most likely never go back to Intel processors. I am the type of person that consistently monitors CPU usage, CPU temps, fan speed, GPU info, and other temps. Intel processors seem to constantly have CPU usage much higher than one would think. This is due to all the nonsense background activity Intel has built into their chip. The 3700X is incredibly fast and works like you are probably hoping for while reading this. My CPU usage right now with Word, Spotify, iCUE, Signal, Web-Browser w/ 6 tabs open, and Mail all open is at 6%. When I would do the same exact thing with any comparable Intel chip, the CPU usage would be ~22%. Yes, you can tweak all of the settings on all chips, I am merely discussing the default layout. Even while playing COD Modern Warfare, Red Dead Redemption, GTA, or Division 2, this chip handles it all. I am simply discussing the default schema without any overclocking. This is all written from my own experience. This PC is roughly my fifth build. Previously, the builds were all intel series chips and I would always be disappointed because the price was so high for lackluster performance. Whatever you decide to do, take your time, do your research, and chose wisely!

I started my pc building journey with an amd 7 2700 over a year ago. Now i am a believer in amd ryzen. I continue to buy amd including this 3700x as they are so far the best value for the power. Several builds later and i love the power and ease of overclocking. Nothing against intel but they are just too expensive for the same power that amd offers.

I previously used the Ryzen 2700X in a Gigabyte AORUS X470 Gaming 7 WIFI motherboard with my main drive being a 500GB Western Digital Black NVME M.2 drive. This was obviously a fast system, but I had purchased two 8GB sticks of DDR4-3600 memory from G. Skill that were very problematic in the system for some time. At best, I could reliably run it at DDR4-3200, and that's about it. After extensive BIOS updates, I went and swapped my 2700X for the 3700X I purchased from Best Buy. Aside from certain situations being *visibly* faster than before, my memory now works like a charm at DDR4-3600. Not only that, but all the strange quirks I couldn't figure out in the past all went away. I may decide to get a new motherboard in the future if I perhaps want to replace my NVMe drive with a new PCIe 4-based one, but I don't want to do that now. If anyone is wondering whether they should replace their board or not, I can confidently say that you can wait if you wish. Those boards are very expensive at the moment, and it works beautifully as a drop-in replacement! As usual, best buy shipped it to me in a very timely fashion.

I couldn’t wait for the next generation to be in stock. This thing is a beast. And will be my main rig for years to come. AMD has really got the best you can buy on the market. I have thrown a lot at this processor and barely scratched the surface of its total capabilities. When I built a rig for the kids to use definitely going to use this processor.

This thing is a multi core beast. Intel should be concerned. It’s run flawless in my rig since getting it. 4K games, video editing you name it and this thing chews it up and doesn’t break a sweat. Much cheaper than intels similar offereings to boot. Love the cool look of the wraith cooler as well.

This CPU is amazing! It's extremely fast, reliable, and awesome for gaming! Intel doesn't stand a chance against AMD at this rate. This is totally worth your $300. So long story short, just buy it. I am using this with the following motherboard: ASUS ROG B450-F GAMING

Bought this product due its reliability. Given on the research I haven done along side with use of the Ryzen line of CPUs. Did not have to upgrade for around 4 with years with my first gen Ryzen 7 processor. So long no issues and great at running any programs I throw at it and even gaming aswell.

Fast shipping. Works as expected. If you're looking to buy this cpu, you will need to download Ryzen Master. Otherwise, the advertised 4.4 GHz may not be reached at stock settings. There is a toggle within the software Ryzen Master that allows for auto overclock. After I toggled, I was able to reach (in bursts) 4.2 - 4.4 GHz consistently. I don't recommend manually overclocking this particularly model because you start at the base speed and move upward (from what I understand). Which means, you started overclocking on 3.6 GHz and go from there. The stock heatsink cooler works fine (even under near max load). I was in the low 70s Celsius while stress testing. However, I did manually adjust the fan curve for my case and the cpu fan. Your temperatures may reach low 80s if the air inside your case is not removed properly. (i went into the bios and set the fan curves) PLEASE DO REMEMBER to update your motherboard bios and chipset. Also, there is a separate driver update for Ryzen itself. I was initially experiencing crashes until I updated all three drivers. From then on, I had no crashes and no other issues relating to the cpu whatsoever.

If you're trying to decide between amd or Intel, stop and go with this cpu right here! This thing is a work horse, manages multiple tasks with ease, great for handling whatever game you throw at it, and comes with a good rgb cpu fan, which intel makes you buy yourself. AMD is the new intel, this is the way to go, trust me.

Amazing processor. My computer is so fast. Of course, I paired it with a fast ram and ssd but I still think it's the processor that is really fast. Boot ups take only seconds. I am used to waiting minutes for everything to boot up. Included fan is totally adequate. For the price, can't beat this processor.

I got an extremely great deal in December 2020 and for the price point this was probable my best PC part purchase. The cpu runs smoothly and is steady temp of low 60s when overclock. Although the amd driver is a little buggy at times and sometimes the driver itself wile not open and turn into a blank screen.

AMD knocks it out of the park with this processor. —Packaging AMD packaging keeps the product safe. And Best Buy packages AMD’s box with lots of cushion to prevent any damage. Only issue I could find was the security tape came off the box in transit just a smidge. —Installation If you’ve ever installed a processor, this is extremely simple. If you’ve NEVER installed a processor, the instructions included with your CPU and motherboard are easy to follow. —Power and Ease of Use Coming from a first gen Ryzen 5 1600, the Ryzen 7 3700x blows my expectations out of the water. It’s very zippy and can handle tasks with a breeze, despite having slightly slower RAM than desired (3000 MHz). It is worth noting you may want to mess with the settings in AMD’s Ryzen Master app to lower the clock speeds or adjust the voltage use, depending on what temperatures you want to achieve. There are some videos on the web to help detail the process and procedure much better than I ever could! So far, I’m giving the Ryzen 7 3700x a solid 5 stars. NOTE: I can’t speak to the quality and sound levels of the stock cooler since I opted for an aftermarket cooler.

I was torn, been an Intel guy for years, however when you compare The I7 9700k to this, yes the Intel is better, however it's 40-60 dollars more plus the price of the cooler And the Ryzen 3700X is not that far behind, plus 65 watt vr 125watt It's a better choice, better value and the proformance is 90% and 20%-25% less $. Its a better CPU for my needs.
