Great CPU for gaming and streaming 1080p 60fps. I paired it with my 2070s and get great results. Warzone I get around 120fps on all high settings and apex I get 200fps on all high settings. Highly recommended. Also the cooler it comes with is great

Just recently switched from my i7-7700 due to constant frame drops. So far i'm pleased with the purchase especially since it was on sale. My performance using the same graphics card is out of this roof compared to my i7. If you ever decide to put on the stock cooler it comes with and later want to remove it for another cooler, make sure you heat up the CPU before removing it and twist the cooler. I removed the cooler and it took the CPU with it.

Would you like to outbench an Intel while running at half the temps? If you said yes then this is the processor for you by simply dropping the voltage a little bit and cranking up the freq you can achieve an everyday usable overclock the will break cinebench while hardly touching the mid 60’s in temp

Coming from a i7 4790k clocked at 5.7 GHz this thing is a powerhouse. The temps are a bit high and unsteady out of the box. A bit if research suggested that overclocking to 4.2ghz and locking voltage to 1.35cv helps stabilize the temps and brings idle temps down. Worked like a charm.

AMD is kicking Intel in the teeth with their Ryzen Series cpus. Considering what I paid for 8 cores/16 threads with a constant boost clock is a great value. Easy to overclock and thermals operated pretty well with a stock cooler. I upgraded to a Corsair AiO water cooler that brought the temps down 15 degrees Celsius. The intel i5 7600k I was running before was great while I had it but was beginning to show its age.

I decided to upgrade my Vive VR PC from the midrange i5 to an AMD platform since I'd gotten the Wi-Gig adapter so the Vive would be wireless. That was a great decision as well. The i5, however, would have moments where visual stuttering was taking you out of the VR moment. Since upgrading to the Ryzen 7, no such issues occur. Loading games is nearly instantaneous, no visual tearing or stuttering. The performance is absolutely amazing.

Upgraded from core 2 quad processor and can’t believe the difference. Using my desktop for hobby photo editing and debated between this CPU and core i7 .. since I’m not making money with my photos I went with the cheaper version( read Ryzen) and couldn’t be happier with the call. Definitely recommend one for anyone who’s still undecided.

Regardless of your needs, this processor has the power to excel. Make sure to download the Ryzen Master software from AMD to take full advantage of the processor. The included Wraith Prism cooler is worth $50 by itself. Installed onto Asus X570 Tuf and it works flawlessly.

Upgraded from 1700x to 3800x to use with games and photo editing. The 3800x works well on Asus x370 crosshair after Bios update. I would suggest getting a different cooler as this CPU seems to run warmer than previous AMD parts. I purchased an Aio cooler and it seems to work well. I am very happy with this purchase.
