Hits 4.5 Gigs with the new Bios

Great CPU

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Background (nothing to do with the product, some background info/rant): I bought a Mini itx B550 motherboard to build a new computer, not realizing that the B550 Chipset does not support the 3400G APUs (I don't know if this varies between motherboard brands but AMD does not officially support the 3400G with that chipset, X570 chipset DOES support them). Bad decision in my opinion since 4th gen APUS have not been released to replace them (they will get released but as of writing this, there is no date). Product: Went to Bestbuy and was happy they stock these so I could get my computer working (had to buy a video card also). Like other AMD cpus I have used, it works great and comes with a colorful CPU fan and wires to attach it to a USB 2 header and JRainbow connector (at least that it what it is called on my motherboard).

Solid work & Play Chipset

I work in CAD so I was more interested in Cores, but I have to admit, this chipset is great for gaming as well.

Bought this for my rebuild as I gave my son my Ryzen 5. I can’t honestly say I notice a huge difference due to being computer stupid but it does seem as though my pc is running faster now

Ryzen Processor Works like a Charm

Fast, efficient and reliable. Have had it up and running for nearly 3 weeks. Not a single problem! Even the included heat sink and fan set up works well. What's not to like!

Excellent Updgrade from 2700x

The 3800x is a beast. Definitely worth the upgrade over my 2700x.

Works good gaming 2k

The new 3800 seems to run all my games at true 2k 165 hz everything ultra. Max temperature 68 Celsius, air cooled all aftermarket Nashua runs and cooler

Chip so good I'd almost eat it!

My custom machine seems to work VERY fast and for that I am happy.

I am just amazed at the speed of these chips.
