How to say this. This CPU SMOKES! If I have any regrets it's that I didn't wait....what with AMD's new Zen 3 5960X now being proffered. But oh well....you can't keep chasing rabbits forever can you? I picked this one up as part of a DIY build, with expectations f holding it at least thru the middle of this decade. Well...maybe I'll chase a new rabbit before then (heh), given what AMD is doing...but for now I'm happy.

The 3950X is the best CPU you can buy for the price if you need lots of cores. Run cool for what it is and can game nicely. Not much of an overclocker, but you don't really need to overclock it. I highly recommend this CPU for those that need the cores and game.

It is a great CPU!. Amazing multi tasking and thread performance. I only recommend it if you use software development and virtual machines. Due it is extreme power but just when using on multithread work loads. Great high end product a great price. Intel didn't even is close to this product. They dream with get that good.

Recently made the change from Intel to AMD and could not be happier! I do a whole lot of multi-tasking and streaming and this does not slow me down. I can't brag about this enough to everyone around me. Paired it with MSI MEG 570 ACE, 64 GB of RAM and an MSI 2080ti. Just a beast!

Super impressed with the Ryzen 3950x. Using it in a new build for Unreal Engine game development and animation. Works rock solid. Does run hot, so make sure you have a solid liquid cooling solution.

This processor is great! I've been running games extremely well with an RTX 3090 and Cyberpunk 2077 looks absolutely amazing with this CPU. It's true that game can't hit 60fps at 4k, but if you pick the right DLSS settings, you can still get really close with everything maxed out.

I upgraded to the 16 core Ryzen 3950X from an older 6 core Intel i7 5820K and it’s amazing how much processing power is available now for below $1000. This processor is definitely overkill solely for gaming, the myriad of 6 to 8 core processors available nowadays would be better options, but for anyone using it for professional or multithread workloads, the 3950X is without a doubt the best consumer processor available.

Everything I have thrown at this CPU, it has absolutely dominated! I am a pretty regular gamer and dabble in video and graphics editing! I have this paired with a NVIDIA 2080TI! Both of these monsters together are unstoppable!!

I was looking for the best AMD processor and this has not disappointed me yet. I built a gaming PC and this has been performing amazing with my whole setup.

Current daily driver. I have it set to a PPT limit of 87W to maximize efficiency but even then it rips through 4K60 video editing in DaVinci Resolve. Works nicely for some gaming as well :)

I got this and 2 days later they released info on the net gen cpu. I kept it incase I wasn't able to get one but, luckily I was able to get one and I returned this. Never used it.

This does it all! It games, it renders, it's awesome at every day apps! 9% cpu utilization while playing Ark survival evolved

Great CPU for enthusiast and production usecaes. Pure gaming systems are better with a 3600 or 3700x.

There’s nothing I can say you don’t already know. This is one of the best processors available today. If it’s within your budget, don’t hesitate.
