I did not get to see this whole series on tv, so I was happy when I saw it on the shelf in the store.

First off, inside the slipsleeve the Bluray came with was covered in factual dates of the real events, so that was awesome! Btw, the bluray was only $20. I was pumped. The cast is supurb in the retelling of the infamous OJ Simpson trial and murders that preceeded it. They, like in realiry, were overshadowed by the magnitude of his celebrity status. The press and defense team turned it into an LA police racial prejudice move...but, you come to your own conclusions. Stand outs from: Sarah Paulson as Marcia. I mean, come on, right? Perfect casting. David Schwimmer as OJs friend and late Kardashian father. Selma Blair as Kris Kardashian. Watch this series,. You won't regret it.

I'd seen some of the actors on talk shows, discussing this movie, and had heard from others who'd seen it that it was good - and then it won a Golden Globe - and rightly so. I remembered (I thought, vividly) the whole OJ Simpson arrest and trial, but some of it I'd remembered wrong and other pieces I'd never known. Watching these actors play their real-life characters was like watching it on the news. It was so true-to-life and we all found it so interesting and, as I mentioned earlier, well done. I would recommend this movie to anyone who either doesn't know the story or doesn't remember it well - or even those who do. Very enlightening and so well acted. No over-dramatization or over-acting in this film.

Every once in a while, a series or show appears on television that captivates, mesmerizes, and astonishes you by the brilliance of the writing, the acting, and in every other way. The People vs. OJ Simpson is one such program. Brilliant on a so many levels, it's hard to find flaw with even one scene in this spectacular television event. From Sarah Paulson and Sterling Clarke's out-of-this-world portrayals of the trial prosecution to a master class acting ensemble playing the Defense Team and Defendant to all of the bit parts sprinkled in along the way, this was appointment viewing at its finest. You simply didn't want to miss a minute.

I still vividly remember all the television coverage and the daily front pages detailing OJ and this horrible crime. THE PEOPLE V OJ SIMPSON brings this all back in a television drama that is first rate. Great storytelling or retelling the story, even though the details are still etched in my memory, but the television drama told the personal side of everyone involved and in a way that the viewers now know exactly everything that happened from seeing those involved, as if we were f;lies on the wall. Too sad that an American hero proved to fall off his pedestal, and in the very worst way. Get the DVD..IT'S AN ABSOLUTE MUST.

Like many of you, I was binge watching the actual broadcasted trial when it made headlines like it was the first reality show outside of The Louds on PBS' American Family, but the OJ experience I had back then wasn't anything like this. You are there for the back room plotting, the survivors' personal evolution, the betrayals and the back stabbings and, yes, courtroom romances AND bullying. This is not the mockumentary you thought it would be. Not at all. It earned the record breaking emmies it received. You need to experience this circus. Consider yourself briefed.

The OJ Simpson trial is a topic that has been looked at and written about ad nauseam over the past two decades. However, the creators of American Crime Story have done what I didn't think was possible...breathe new life into such a widely known story. Just when you think you have heard it all, you watch this and gain a whole new sense of understanding from one of the many aspects of such a circus moment in history. The acting is superb, the writing is smart and well done and the entire series itself is a work of art. Very well done and highly recommended.

Was bummed to find that FX did not allow streaming of this series after it ran its course on cable. Swung into Best Buy and got the season on DVD for under $15. Much more affordable than purchasing the digital version through other outlets. All in all a great retelling of the infamous OJ Simpson trial. I was in grade school whenever this was happening, so it was fascinating to revisit the story as an adult. Highly recommend purchasing if you were alive when this went down!

This series is captivating from the first episode to the very last minute. We all know (or think we know) the story at hand but this series gives you a viewpoint that most people would never quite comprehend until you watch. The actors involved consume you in the portrayal of their respective rolls. I truly never burned through so many episodes in such a short period of time. After having watched this twice I can only say that it is well worth the price and time spent.

I was born in the 1990's, after this case had been brought to court and decided. With that being said, I wasn't able to witness this pop culture event in real time when everyone else did. This first season to a seemingly great anthology series gives a great recounting of history. Although this may seem like a recent event for some, this case is older than I am so it's great to have a retelling of it so that I can have knowledge of it!

Outstanding from the first frame to the last. The People vs. OJ Simpson is a perfectly acted, directed, and produced dramatization of the OJ Trial, scars and all. This miniseries was easily some of the best TV drama I have watched in a decade. It certainly sets up a near impossible standard to meet in American Crime Story's next iteration - but based on how well done this was, I don't doubt that the creators are up to the challenge.

The show itself is well-written and well acted. Each episode offers insight into the media obsessed trial of O.J. Simpson. I found myself being surprised at how much I thought I knew and how much I was being taught. The blu-ray itself is also good. The video and audio quality is excellent. The only problem is the lack of special features; if the features don't matter to you, then it is minor.

Some people thought this would be like a parody, but it was really well done. Shows all of the lesser known drama behind the scenes of the defense, and how everything just fell apart for the slam dunk case they had. Also shows the drama OJ went through leading up to the trial and the epic Bronco chase.Could have done without the Kim K connections. Haven't we seen enough of that family???

American crime story the people versus OJ Simpson is a great show from FX. The video transfer on Blu-ray is excellent, the only thing lacking is some decent special features outside of the short behind the scenes featurette in an interactive timeline. However that being said the actual show is good enough to stand on its own for the Blu-ray release. Highly recommend!

I lived through the OJ saga. Watched the trial every day and was amazed at the verdict .I read all the pertinent books as well as the sources material for the limited series. This brought the book to life and was filled with amazing performances that brought all my memories back. I even re-read the book to catch all the nuances again.

Any person, whether you lived through the OJ trial or not will love this show! It has brilliant performances by the actors. Follows the story wonderfully and keep your interest till the end- even though everyone knows the outcome of the trial! You won't be disappointed with American Crime Story: The People V.S. OJ Simpson.

This series was outstanding. My son and I watched it on separate occasions on HBO and we loved it. I surprised him and presented the series to him on DVD. All the actors who played main characters were excellent! In my opinion, this was an accurate portrayal of what happened in real life. Glad to own it on DVD!

When I first heard about this, I wasn't interested (somewhat tired of hearing about O.J.) but watching the first episode, I knew I was hooked for the entire season. World-class acting all around, incredible writing, brilliant directing -- what more could anyone ask? Don't miss this masterpiece!

I bought this on blu ray..and the story was very interesting to watch..each characters played very well..detailing every aspect of this crime story..and watching this on blu ray..is awesome..details are very sharp..I recommend this to watch and buy as a collectable item..its great!!

A great reenactment of one of the most controversial crimes in American history. Very well acted and spot on with some of the actors. I personally think OJ should have been played by a different actor but all the rest were spot on. Highly recommended.
