David O. Russell (The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook) does it again. American Hustle continues Russell's incredible ability to tell a story and develop characters. It's nice to have an original screenplay in this day and age of sequels. Superb acting. Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, and Robert DeNiro have become Russell mainstays.

And for 9.99 that I purchased it for, it was a no brainer. Glad I loved the movie, once I got to watch it also. I'm not going to pretend to be a movie critic. There are other more qualified people for that, but if Best Buy has this movie on sale for less than $10 w/ blu ray/dvd/digital copy, it's a must buy...don't hesitate.

American Hustle had a great cast and seemed pretty true the time period that it was set in. The acting was superb, but unfortunately, the acting didn't keep the movie from dragging at times. It also didn't help the plot which seemed a little disjointed at times. All in all, it was a pretty good movie.

This movie was so good, I had to replay several scenes to make sure I drank it all in. The writing is great, but it's the performances that you'll remember. Jeremy Renner, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and especially Christian Bale shine throughout the show. Plus the music is great too, if you're a child of the 70's.

I highly reccomended this movie to everyone. It was a good plot and the characters were developed well as the movie continued. The actors are all great and the movie line is full of action and drama all at the same time. The ending was a surprise so I won't spoil it for anyone reading this review.

This was an amazing film. The actors casting was flawless and the content was great. The movie does flow well and the acting was great, This was a fun watch and I would say get this movie.

A great movie about an event in recent times. It has great acting across the board. It's a good story and they have some fun with it. Robert De Niro's short role is a classic. And Jennifer Lawrence does it again, in a very different role. Haven't seen "Wolf of Wall Street," but suspect this gives it a good run.

Since I lived in the 70's and 80's, I was aware of the hair and clothing styles, but I had forgotten all the routine everyone went through to achieve the look, the movie really takes you back to that time. It's easy to get caught up in the plot- very original. Loved Amy Adams.

The is a good reason as to why this was nominated for several awards and I am not sure I really need to say much about that. However, Best Buy has often been competitive with the new releases with other stores like Costco, but that seems to be changing with the first week sale price. So look around for it.

But it for the acting, the soundtrack, the sets and costumes. They all capture the vibe Of the 70s perfectly. The Plot while entertaining seemed a little Jumbled or frantic. Didn't really flow But still a great movie I can and will watch many times. DVD only has ultraviolet digital copy. I prefer iTunes

Anyone who wasn't able to enjoy this originally on the PS3, and may be even the least bit curious, should absolutely try it out if you have a PS4. The game was great as is, but with the upgrade in visuals along with better framerate and extra dlc included on disc this is an easy decision for gamers.

Really captured the feeling and mood of the 70's. Bale, Adams, Cooper and Renner all excellent; Jennifer Lawrence seemed young for her character, but such a great actress you gradually forget it. How close it was to what actually happened with ABSCAM, but again it's so entertaining you don't mind !

I loved this. Only recently watched it, not sure how I missed seeing it previously. Excellent addition to my film library!

THE MOVIE HAD A N INTERESTING STORYLINE, THAT KEPT YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT. I THOUGHT THE ACTING WAS TERRIFIC, EVEN WORTHY OF WINNING AN ACADEMY AWARD, BY BOTH MALE AND FEMALE. JENNIFER GARNER IN PARTICULAR WAS OUTSTANDING, AND I VOTED FOR HER TO WIN AN OSCAR. ALSO GREAT CINEMATOGRAPHY.

This movie is so good. I loved it. It's funny with lots of drama and action in between. The plot is interesting and keeps you wanting to watch what's going to happen next. All the characters are very believable and the actors do a great job portraying them. This is one of my new favorites!

This movie is pure entertainment! It's completely engaging from start to finish. The characters are played by amazing actors/actresses playing roles that are way out of their usual comfort zones! It's great fun, thanks Hollywood for getting this one right!!

It's got a unique sense of pacing It's really well-acted It's got a great, balanced, harsh-but-still-empathetic sense of humor If you like David O Russell films in general you will probably enjoy it. Not as good as The Fighter maybe, but not as heavy either. More lighthearted.

This is a very entertaining movie based on a real story with a lot of good acting especially Leonardo DeCaprio. Some of the scenes and language may not be suitable for kids under 17 and I would not want to watch it with my adult kids in the room. Otherwise this is a top notch movie.

The movie is excellent. It is a very interesting history and it is handled in a such manner that you do not understand all that is happening until you see the last line of the movie. Production is very good and roles like the one played by Bale's wife is amazing. I like this movie.

American Hustle is full of great performances. The plot can get a little wonky at times, but everyone delivers really interesting performances that make you want to keep watching. Amy Adams in particular I found to be extremely strong.
