American hustle is a smart and witty film set back in an era where the music has never been matched, the sound track is awesome. The twists and turns keep you on edge and the final sting leaves you feeling very satisfied when it's all over. Overall I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

This was one of the best movies of the last year IMO. This blows "Silver Linings Playbook" completely out of the water which was also David O. Russell, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. That one was almost sickeningly overrated but this one definitely lives up to the hype.

This is a sexy funny film with a great twist. Amy Adams is amazing. My complaint has nothing to do with the movie: I don't think they should combine Blu Ray with Digital Copy. Have one and bring the cost down. Who needs both.

It had a good plot, but it takes place back in time. I liked the movie but it didn't hold my full attention through the whole movie. I am going to try and watch it again and see if I can enjoy it more next time, because I love the cast of the movie!

Wanted to see this movie. Buying it was a good option. Has a star-studded cast. Either you like it or you don't...I did. I guess the critics liked it as well!

A Stunning fictional movie. Christian Bale plays a great con man and evil partner Amy Adams. Can you image them being forced to work with an FBI agent Bradley Cooper. Also it comes with an Ultraviolet Digital that you can download. I used Flixster

This is a great movie, especially for those who consider them movie lovers. If you are casual movie goer, just rent it, but if you love movies I highly recommend...Bale, Cooper and Renner are great. Amy Adams is tremendous and Jennifer Lawrence was grea. Watch this movie

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. I'm also glad it came with a digital download. That way I can take the hard copy if I go to a friends house to watch something.

American Hustle is a terrific piece of filmmaking by David O Russell, with an entertaining story and impressive acting from the star-studded cast. Great picture and sound on Blu-Ray, the only downside is the relative lack of bonus features.

America has many NATIONAL SINS ... and this film, along with a slew of others, highlights our Lust for Money. Consider it along with WALL STREET ... WOLF OF WALL STREET ... THE BIG SHORT ...

Great fictional story line about Jersey powerbrokers and corruption in the 1970's. 5 A list actors and actresses, Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lawrence.

The movie drags in places and can be a bit hard to follow. The performances are the star, especially the scene stealing Jennifer Lawrence. The supporting cast is almost stronger than the lead cast. The time period is executed perfectly.

If John Cassavetes directed a Martin Scorsese crime caper it might look something like this movie. Fine writing but it's the great performances that keep you involved with the film. Any scene with Bradley Cooper and Louis C.K. is gold.

Interesting film subject with terrific ensemble of actors. This is what movies are supposed to be! Christian Bale morphs his body yet again to play a I surprisingly different role and brings Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams along for the ride! Very entertaining film.

Had seen this movie in the theatre but being able to sit at home and watch it was great. AND in Blue-Ray to boot!!! I really enjoyed the movie because of the actors, the plot, and costumes. What a way to enjoy a couple of hours at home.

This movie has such a good plot twisting final act but you might not fully understand it if you didn’t pay close attention to the movie throughout. It’s a good one.

Great movie, actors were great, we all thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Of course it took me back to the good old days. Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams played off each other so well and of course Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, and Jeremy Renner were great as well.

This movie grabs you from the first frame on and never lets go. Christian Bale is incredible and Amy Adams is also up to the task. These 2 together on screen set the tone and the sparks fly. Great twists and turns but easy to follow. You have to see this movie!

This is a humorous telling of how the FBI was able to catch Congressmen accepting bribes. The participants are complex. The actors make the viewer like criminals who prey on unsuspecting people--average "joes" and "important" people.

A lot of people complained that this film had "no point" or story when, in fact, the real draw of this film is how it tells an interesting story based on the mundane. It's maybe fair to call it more of a character study film.
