    Having read the book, really enjoyed the movie. Critics nitpick on the review but its not an easy book to make a film out of. Definitely worth watching.

    Don't waste your time or money on this one. You would have to be an extreme fan of one or more of the actors, or of the author to sit through it. All of the character are whack jobs. Not resembling real life. Nothing pastoral about it. Children do not ask Daddy to kiss them like Mommy. Professional counselors to not give advice or conclusions like that. Mommies don't disengage from their children so quickly(although they do have affairs) Mommies don't get blamed. The only sympathetic character is the Dad. To a sickening degree. The featurette at the end the actors glom over their acting, director and the script.
